HOTEL SAGRADA FAMILIA STAY-PLEASINGPosted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Location, great service and price.
Location: Already discussed above.
The hotel is 3 minutes walk to the most famous still underconstruction church called Sagrada Familia Church by Gaudi. Due to proximity of the hotel to the church, I had time to see the church at nighttime when lights really enhance the exterior part of this magnificient church. The hotel is near convenience stores as well as mini supermarkets, which made shopping for my needs much easier. The receptionists were super accommodating, most especially the lady by the name of Lorena. Asked her for anything and she had the answers for me with smiles. The hotel is also a 5 minute walk to subway station, thus getting around and going to downtown much easier.

good location,clean and calmPosted Jul 28, 2014
I did chose this hotel because it is just in 2min from Sagrada Familia and price was very reasonable. I did right thing. The hotel has everything needed for good stay. I am not sure about family with kids, but for a lonely traveler like me or couple it is a great place to stay. 3-5 min walk to subway, restaurants and cafes on the block. The staff is very helpful and with good English. And guys they have a patio on the roof, so you can get some tan right on the spot.

Everything was great; one exception. We thought that parking was included in original price and the parking was not on site.

The best locationPosted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: Location. WiFi. Shower pressure, A/C
Cons: bathroom was a bit outdated.
Location: PERFECT location. Safe at any hour. I was a single woman with a 13 yr old daughter. I never once felt unsafe. Short distance to metro and bus.
My 13 yr old daughter nad I stayed here for 7 days. We had a great time. Location could not be any better. 2 blocks away form Sagrada familia and major metro stop. VERY Safe area. We came home routinely at 11 pm or midnight with no issues, and we never felt unsafe. Great restaurants and cafes everywhere. Room is big for European Standards. Bathroom is OK...with a great shower thought. Great water pressure and hot, hot temperature makes for a great shower. Breakfast was great for 6 euros (we had a special going on) however for 12 pp would b e a bit expensive. Great variety of hams, sausages, omelets, pastries, etc. bets part however was the WIFI. It worked EXCELLENT. Very fast. very reliable. At all hours, anywhere in the hotel. The front desk staff was very helpful with tours and recommendations. You can book everything through them as well. WE loved it. I would definitely go back. No reservations.

Only downside to this area is that there is no night life or activities at night time, you must travel to different part of the city for evening entertainment.

Good location away from the crowdsPosted Sep 12, 2013
Pros: See above
Cons: Nothing obvious for the money
Location: See above.
Just 2 blocks (about 5 minute walk) back from the Sagrada Familia and the accompanying Metro. Staff were efficient and courteous and once you leave the Sagrad Familia immediate area you are away from the crowds. You can walk to Placa de Catalunya in about 35 minutes or Metro takes about 10 min. Room was simple and clean with a good shower.
