ideal location for a long weekendPosted Oct 29, 2014
Pros: friendly and clean
Location: walking distance from metro and bus stop. Magic fountain at night and shooping complex
Hotel in good location to see the magic fountain at night Easy walking distance. plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel was clean comfortable and very friendly. My only criticism was the room was very compact. The bed however was comfortable, there was a fridge with free water and all the facilities you needed. There is no view from the window you look out onto the lifts. The bathroom was newly fitted, clean nice comfortable bath and shower but very small. two people could not use the bathroom at once! Dont let this put you off though as when you are on a long weekend how long do you spend in the room. It was quite at night and had air con so we got a good nights sleep. If i returned to Barcelona i would stay there again.

Nice hotel for a short stayPosted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: Staff, location, quality of overall service
Cons: It was great for what we needed; one small improvement could be more speedy replenishment of the breakfast buffet on very busy Saturday mornings.
Location: 3 minute walk to local metro (Espanya stop); easy access to all areas of the city. Art gallery, exhibition centre, restauraunts, shopping all nearby.
Room clean and nicely appointed if a little small for two people but we were only there for three nights so it was fine. The shower was lovely and the provision of a fridge and free bottled water was a nice touch and well used. Beds were comfortable, breakfast buffet was nice. We ate in the restaurant on one night; the menu is small as it's clear that most visitors eat out in the main town or the many restaurants within walking distance but the food was good (we both had turbot and it was perfectly cooked) and the service spot on. The staff were the best part; all really friendly and helpful and spoke good English which was great as my Spanish is minimal and decidedly dodgy.

A beautiful hotel in the middle of the CityPosted Oct 6, 2014
Pros: Everything, friendly English speaking staff, plenty of refills in the bathroom, breakfast food was plentiful and good
Cons: not much
Location: The location was perfect for the sightseer being 500 mts away from the subway and rail station. Food, shopping and all you needed were in the block
Stayed six days and every one was enjoyable. Hard to find a negative about the place.

Nice location but room is not very functionalPosted Sep 19, 2014
Pros: Good location near hop-on, hop-off bus route, old bull-fighting ring and several other attractions.
Cons: Larger TV, more privacy, better ventilation/air conditioning system.
Location: Very convenient location, near large mall and several historical sites.
Room was very small with no real privacy in the bathroom due to glass door and large gap. Shower water went all over the place, toilet paper roll was difficult to reach behind you. Very few hangars, poor air conditioning. Bed was comfortable but rest of the room was not very functional. Window opened into an internal shaft - not the outdoors.

Very nice hotel. RecommendedPosted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: The friendly atmosphere. The fact that it's close to the center of the city. But not right in the middle of it
Cons: Internet connection in the room was very slow. In public area it was ok
Location: Very close to the magic fountain and placa espania
Hotel is very friendl and clean. Good breakfast.

Great LocationPosted Sep 14, 2014
The hotel is situated very close to Place Espanya which provide good metro links to the north (les corts) and south (la ramblas) as well as picturesque walks to MNAC and Montjuic. Hotel is a good standard, decent room but no safe/ironing board... Bed was erm... a little flimsy (squeaked every time you turn)... But part from that it as fine. All in all not a bad hotel for the price and location.

Great hotel near the fountains of Montjuic.Posted Jul 16, 2014
Pros: Situated near the fountains and great value for money.
Cons: English information.
Location: Fountains of Monjuic.
Ours was an inside room but that did not concern us. It is a nice hotel and great value for money. The breakfast was excellent. The only thing that could be improved on was lack of English information. The hotel caters for business people not tourists. The hotel menu was in Spanish and the satff member looking after this area didn't speak English so we didn't eat there. The reception staff spoke English and were very helpful.

Nice hotelPosted Jul 9, 2014
The hotel is in a great location close to restaurants, shopping and transportation. The rooms were quiet, but the air conditioning didn't work very well. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and spoke English well. We walked to las ramblas, and it was a short easy walk from the hotel.
