Very well positioned for the town centrePosted Oct 21, 2014
Pros: Most things
Cons: A mains socket (220volt) on the desk
Location: All of Barcelona, including La Arena (old bullring), La plaza d'España, Montjuic are nearby
Great bar, roof terrace. Lots of nice social spaces. 10 mins walk to the centre of town and on a quieter side road. I shall stay again, have stayed before.

Great city hotel.Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: Clean, tidy and not too big. Very pleasant staff who were very helpful and spoke much better English than I did Spanish !
Cons: Everything was fine.
Location: Good location less than 10 minutes walk to Plaza Espanya and the old bullring which is now a large shopping centre with lots of dining opportunities
Very enjoyable 4-day stay.Hotel in a good location within walking distance of city centre and only a very short distance from a metro station and a selection of cafes and restaraunts. If back in Barcelona I would certainly stay in the same hotel.

Lovely Hotel.Posted Oct 10, 2014
A beautiful hotel with helpful staff. The room was tastefully furnished with a fabulous shower room and comfortable beds. The bar area was nice with a piano playing in the evening. Would highly recommend. It is a little way out, taking 30 mins to walk to Las Ramblas past interesting shops and lovely coffee shops. We took a bus tour around the city on a hop on hop off bus which was good. Best to buy your tickets for La Sagrada and the Park on line before you go as long queues. We waited 2.5 hours at the park but were able to visit the beautiful surrounding park and facilities while waiting. The best place to eat is the Irish Bar Flaherty's behind Burger King at the bottom of Las Ramblas near the port.Only 6 Euros for a huge jacket potato with 2 fillings. Great atmosphere and cheap drinks too. Had a wonderful break and love Barcelona.

Perfect City break.Posted Oct 7, 2014
Pros: The location, facilities, especially the rooftop bar.
Location: Place Espanya is just down the road and at the fountains at 9pm we had possibly one of the best free shows ever, the fountain display is breathtaking.
Located in a quiet area, yet within close proximity of all you need. Excellent room, plus a really nice rooftop terrace bar just up the stairs from our room, we were on the sixth floor. Clse by is Rocafort metro (2 mins) which gives you immediate access to wherever you want to go. Plus if you prefer to walk, everyehere you need to go is walkable. We really cannot fault the choice we made in choosing this particular hotel.

Nice hotel, great dining lounge.Posted Oct 2, 2014
Pros: Definitely the lounge, and the tiramisu.
Cons: No issues.
Location: We're hardier than most, but walked to the Arts Museum, MontJuic Castle and the stadium. We may have gone further, but only stayed the one day.
The hotel was well located and the staff were helpful. The best part of this hotel was our dinner, which was accompanied by live piano music; we were always on the go and dinner in the lounge was a classy way to unwind.

Perfect Boutique hotelPosted Sep 30, 2014
What can I say other than we were so very sad to leave. We were only in Barcelona for the weekend and have already decided that we would be back to explore the city more and book to stay at this hotel again. The whole experience of the hotel made the weekend so special. The room was clean, spacious and modern. Could do with a full length mirror but that is just a minor vanity thing. The breakfast was amazing with good quality food for just €14. The staff were so helpful. We arrived very late on the Friday night and they put together a lovely cheese and ham board for us to graze on. The roof terrace was so beautiful and chic. I love this hotel.

Lovely modern hotelPosted Sep 28, 2014
Pros: Good room size - modern & clean. Extra touches such as free coffee/pastries. Rooftop bar. Dinner BBQ menu fantastic and good value.
Cons: Adding Tea/coffee facilities to room. A 'double' bed which isn't two single beds pushed together.
Location: Not quite in the main part of town, so be prepared to walk or take transport if you want the 'tourist' beat.
Barcelona is a fabulous city to visit. The tourist bus is an excellent means of seeing all the main attractions of the city and getting your bearings as to where everything is. Advance bookings are essential for attractions such as the Sagrada Familia if you want to avoid the queues. Exploring on foot is great to experience the old part of town and the city market off La Ramblas is an absolute must visit!

A pleasant stay in BarcelonaPosted Sep 27, 2014
Pros: Friendly, very helpful staff. Good location. Comfortable room and bathroom.
Cons: Nothing much.
Location: See above.
A well-located, reasonably-priced hotel, with surrounding restaurants and shops in a relatively quiet and pleasant neighborhood. Comfortable, modern, clean room, with a very nice bathroom and amenities. Very pleasant, helpful, and friendly staff. Easy walking distance to Plaza Espagna (magic fountain), Las Ramblas, and Bario Gothic. Metro station a block away. Highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful Hotel! Great Staff!Posted Sep 16, 2014
Although this hotel is not in the center of the action, it is in walking distance. I loved the fact that we not in the noisy part of town! The staff was excellent! I would definitely book here again when we return to Barcelona!!
