a well located Hotel on Diagonal

Pros: being remembered by some of the staff from previous visits. gave a bit of a more familiar homely feel
Cons: modernisation would be key, most hotels nowadays have some sort of exercise facility / Complimentary refreshments, it neds bringing more up to date
I've stayed at this hotel for business reasons 3 times this year, it was ideal for me considering the location i was working was just around the corner. The Hotel staff are very friendly, the food good and the restaurant was relatively quiet in the evening during my stays. The rooms are spacioous and quite comfortable.

Good Location Hotel

Pros: The location
Cons: Wifi connection, Hotel smells like an old hotel.
Location: Directly next to a commercial center (Shopping) Some restaurants are located nearby.
The Hotel is simple and clean. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious. Its is located next to a Commercial Mall. A calm neighborhood . Bus stations are in front of the hotel. Barcelona City Tours have a stop directly in front of the hotel. Not very close to the City Center but transportation is very easy in Barcelona (Tram, Metro, Bus) all close to the hotel. The wifi connection was not very good in the room. Nice view from 3rd floor.

Cons: Hard mattresses
Location: Nou camp, cafes, Shops, , bars, restaurants, El Cortes ingles. All transport, easy access to all gaudi attractions.
What a find, wonderfully located to get everywhere. All transport available, bus train snd trams. Nou camp is within walking distance and there are plenty of Restaurants bars and cafes nearby. Must mention the more mature chap on reception, what a helpful person, thanks to him managed to get tickets for the Barcelona football match.

Our stay at Huss Hotel

Far from center of Barcelona. Very poor condition. Air condition did not work in our room. TV was very old and outdated did not work. Furniture very old and outdated. Had to take train or taxi every day to get to the center of Barcelona which cost 45 Euro each way with taxi or 20 Euro for us each way. Weary disappointed and dissatisfied. This is a 2 star not a 4 star hotel

Nice hotel situated almost inside a mall!

Cons: Provide an iron to guests who want one.
Situated right next to the mall "centro comercial L'illa Diagonal", this hotel has a great location. There's always people around, so you never feel unsafe. Groceries, restaurants, cafes, clothing stores, etc. are all a minute away. Breakfast was good. The beds were good. The only downside was that the room got a bit hot during the day, even though it was 10 degrees outside and the heating was turned off. But there was no way to cool down the room since the windows could not be opened.
