“Pity We Had To Leave”
We only stayed one night before moving on but would have loved to stay longer. It is a family fun hotel and the service is exceptional. There is a restaurant downstairs which served up decent food for a reasonable price. The neighbourhood is very pretty and it is only a short walk to the train station. The rooms are comfortable and you get what you pay for. Absolutely nothing to complain about.
“Very good location, friendly staff, clean rooms.”
If what you are looking for is a clean, cheap room close to the city center, this hotel is a very good alternative. We stayed only one night but were really satisfied. A good value for the money...
“A Gem!”
Let's be clear: this is a 1-star hotel. But, given that, it is superb. Friendly and helpful staff, clean, relatively quiet (considering the convenient, busy location) with an excellent restaurant. We were particularly thankful for the night concierge cheerfully willing to make us early morning cafe con leche prior to opening. Highly recommended!
“Best location. A great restaurant in the hotel. Staff are helpful.”
Best location. Many sightseeing areas are walking distance. A restaurant, which provides great food by reasonable price is downstairs of guestrooms. I saw many locals came to the restaurant. Very popular. The front lady, who greeted us at the first day, was very helpful with warm heart. She helped us a lot all the time during our stay. Unfortunately I didn't ask her name. She said she had been working at the hotel for a long time. Price of a room was great. If you think about location, it's almost unbelievably cheap. The room was always clean. Thanks to the staff who cleaned our room. If I have to mention not perfect thing....if you are very sensitive about sounds / noise during your sleep, you might be disturbed by sounds from outside and / or from up stairs / from other rooms. It's just because the hotel building is old (but well maintained) and the location of the hotel is in heart of sightseeing area, very convenient.
“Central location.”
This hotel is perfect if all you really want is somewhere to stay in the city centre. It is above a restaurant/cafe, very close to the Arc d'Triumph. The room was clean, nothing special, and there were no interesting facilities, but it was fine as a base to explore the city.

Ciutat Vella, Barcelona, Spain: Barcelona's Old Town, the Ciutat Vella takes in the Barri Gòtic and the world-famous promenade of Las Ramblas. The former is the city's medieval core, a maze of atmospheric alleyways clustered around the splendid Gothic Cathedral. Quirky specialist shops and characterful bars and eateries abound. Don't miss the Museu Picasso and the Museu d'Història de la Ciutat, as much for their palatial settings as their content.
