Just off the beaten track.Posted Feb 6, 2014
Pros: Clean as a whistle, our room had a beautiful view. We cooked our own Catalan food (market 2 mins down the road) in the well equipped kitchen.
Poblenou is a delight, we felt we had seen a much more authentic side of Barcelona than staying in town, as we normally do. Beach atmosphere, coupled with the relaxed, laid back feel of the locality was a big winner for us. You're only 4 or 5 stops on the Metro from the Gothic Quarter, but we preferred to spend our time locally. The polite and helpful staff know when to leave you alone, but were attentive when required.

Lovely apartment, very clean and comfortable.Posted Dec 11, 2013
The apartment was great, a lot of space, modern, clean and comfortable. It is very difficult for the taxi to find so perhaps a better directions would be helpful. Thank you.

Excellent apartmentPosted Nov 30, 2013
Apartments were amazing very clean and close to the beach. On arrival the reception staff could not do enough for you letting us check in early and going through best routes to the city centre and things to see and do. Would not hesitate to stay here again and recommend it to anyone wanting a city break to Barcelona as you have the beach 2 mins away and the vibrant city centre 20 mins away.

Apartment hotel walking distance from CCIBPosted Nov 21, 2013
Good alternative to a hotel room, you get your own apartment complete with kitchen and living room. All the facilities of a hotel except room service, though you can always order a delivery! Usual issue of noise in Spanish built apartments, but no worse than a hotel.

Luxurious Barcelona ApartmentPosted Nov 6, 2013
Situated in the Poblenou area, these apartments are ideal for a family or couples break. They are well equipped with a fully fitted kitchen, 2 bathrooms and very comfortable king sized beds. Our sea view room had stunning views of the Balaeric sea and it was a very pleasant 4 km walk down the promenade to Barcelona port. There are lots of restaurants on Poblenou Rambla and we found the food to be very good and inexpensive. The staff were incredibly helpful and I will certainly be booking with Lugaris sea again.

Can't recommend it more highlyPosted Nov 3, 2013
Cons: There didn't seem to be a kettle or a toaster! It wasn't a problem for us but may have been for some people.
It really was like 'home'. Very impressed with layout, decor and modern facilities and we felt safe and secure. Great location very near the beach and an easy 10 minute walk, past a good supermarket, to the nearest Metro station (Poblenou). Far-reaching views from the rooftop swimming pool aswell!
