Horrible check in, have misleading information on website when booking. Have to walk 7 blocks to another apartment after check-in. Basically no service after check-in. Asked for toilet paper and it has never come.

Great location and apartment! Our only problem was with the communication with us about a change in the location of our stay, required due to plumbing problem prior to our arrival at our original apartment location. We were given an upgraded apartment, in a more central location, so no issues here! The problem is that we didn't receive any notification of the change. MH Apartments said that they notified Expedia and that we should have received a notice from them, but we did not. A surprise at 10:30 p.m. after a long day.

The apartment was very nice and not far from the sites I wanted to see. What I did not like was when I arrived (after paying $35 Euro for a taxi from the airport) The Concierge informed me and my companion of a problem with the apartment at the address provided and they sent us to another location 8 blocks away. I asked why they didn't contact me prior to my arrival and they just apologized but provided no alternative on how to get there and said to walk. Which we did. It was ridiculous walking that far with 3 large suit cases and additional shoulder bags. If I was informed in advance I would have taken the taxi directly there. I was not offered a ride, taxi or compensation for the mishap which was also very disappointing. They said they gave us an upgrade which it really wasn't. They just gave us an apartment with an additional bedroom which we did not need. Lastly, I brought my own cafetera (espresso stove top coffee pot) since I would have a stove available, well they fail to inform guests that the stove top was an induction stove and non magnetic pots would not work. It took me quite some time to learn that the problem was the type of cook top and not my lack of understanding on how to use it. That information should be noted in Room Amenities in the property description. Overall I had a nice experience but since I took the time to communicate with the property prior to my arrival I would have expected them to keep me notified of changes to my reservation.

Although our apartment was relocated at the last minute, we could not fault the location or the apartment. A very enjoyable stay and would recommend to anyone, even with the self check-in machine in the lobby

Mixed bag
When we originally went to the location provided by Expedia, we were told the booking didn't exist. After a while they eventually agreed I had a reservation but that it was at another location. I was told it was 7m walk but it was more like 45m. I was with my mother, who has cancer which has rendered her disabled, and the walk really took its toll on her. The room itself was really nice but the fact that my mother's health massively suffered really put a dampener on the whole stay

MH Apartments has severla buildings on the same area with similar facilities, the properties are close each other, not more to 10 minutes walking, but we offer you to pay your ticket for the inconveniences but you prefer go walking to the other building, we offer that because if you don't know the city you could take longer than usual

Booked this hotel only to review a email from them 2 days before the arrival date to be told they had moved us to another hotel. Contacted expedia who contacted the hotel and confirmed that we would still be staying there. On arrival they again said we had been moved but did in the end find us a apartment which was great

Excellent for families or a big group. Very spacious and clean. The location was so convenient. Just don’t expect hotel amenities. It is great for a short stay.

Clean, great air-con, secure, quiet and effective at silencing traffic noises. Simple and when we needed extra items, the staff were very quick to respond. The only negative was there was no personal greeting or goodbye. The staff could have been more friendly.

Recent trip to Barcelona
Lovely appartment. Clean and spacious. Modern and very well equipped with good kitchen, 2 x TV and a coffee machine. Welcome pack for kitchen a nice touch. Plenty of room for our family of 4. Lounge and dining area, two bedrooms each with bathroom & shower/bath. Air conditioning was great as weather was very hot. We all slept well as appartment was quiet and we did not hear any noise from other guests. Staff helpful and spoke English. A great stay overall. Location slightly away from main tourist area but easy to walk to most places. Bring some comfortable footwear. Buses great and easy to use if needed. Good Condis supermarket 2 mins away and a Lidl a bit further where we got all we needed. Short walk to some nice restaurants. Would come here again the next time we visit Barcelona. We felt safe and secure at all times. Recommended.

Very good and comfortable!
I booked for a 2 bedroom apartment. When we arrived we noted some minor problems but the staff were very good and dealt with it at once. They told me that the apartment I booked was not available so they upgraded us to rooftop apartment with a huge terrace where we spent most of our breakfasts every morning. They also gave us access to the pool as complimentary! All kitchen necessities are available and there is a washing machine so all our clothes were clean when we went home. There a few supermarkets nearby. The beds were comfortable even my kids noted this. The location is not too bad. You need to be prepared to walk around 2-3 blocks away for your nearest metro and bus stops. If you have young kids, bring your pushchair or scooters or heelies!

We had the superior two bed apartment booked for our family of four at the height of the summer heat wave. The air-conditioning broke down on the fourth day of our visit and sleeping was very uncomfortable. It was fixed the next day so it's something that just happens but there was just a note pinned on the door rather than a staff member explaining the situation to you. The apartment itself is suitable for self catering to an extent, however there is limited cooking space so if you're just doing plain pasta or soup or heating up already cooked food it's fine but if you're going to make a gourmet meal forget it. also it would have been nice to be told to get our own washing up liquid, scourers and dishwashing tablets. There is a washing machine in the apartment however it has not been cleaned and we were afraid our clothes would come out dirtier if we put it in! Other than that it is suitable for our visit, there are plenty of supermarkets around, very centrally located to all the important tourist bits. Check in was easy. there is just no one from 6 AM to 8 AM in the morning but otherwise it is manned for the rest of the time which is quite handy. We walked all the way from our apartments to Montjuc and even Pole Espanol. The metro stop we used was Rocafort or Urgell. The stop after that is Espanya that leads on to Montjuc and also near the shopping mall which is the old converted bull ring Arena. You can see the Magic Fountains from the top it.

The apartment was VERY, VERY CLEAN, I also loved that it had a washing and dryer machine in one, rooms are very spacious, has kitchen. Outside the hotel you have taxis passing by every moment, so you do need to get an Uber. Love the place!

Communication was poor with notifying us that the air conditioning was broken during the last two days of our stay. When we inquired about when the air conditioning would be repaired (temps were in the mid 90’s during those days), we were told by the staff that they were dealing with the same situation as us in their offices, but they never apologized nor tried to make our stay during those days any more comfortable.

Excellent newer apartment.
Very nice apartment. With a family of four we were pleased to walk into a nice two bedroom two bathroom with living room and kitchen. Plenty of space for all of us. Mom and Dad in master bedroom with two twin beds pushed together and kids in the other bedroom with two twin beds. Close enough to everything by bus or metro and away from all the tourists. Quiet neighborhood.

When we were making our reservation, we called the hotel to make sure if we should pay for 2 nights or 3 (we got in very early in the morning) and they told us 2 nights. We even called a week before our trip to confirm. We got to the hotel at 3 am and they would not let us check in to the hotel and made us pay for another night in a smaller room. The guy at the front desk (always wears short shorts and works nights) is rude. When we finally got to our bigger room the next day, we found moldy shoes that were left in the room by prior guests, the iron didn’t work, and one outlet didn’t work. We were also not given a cleaning supply kit that comes in each room. When we told the front desk, they sent the same reception guy and he blamed us for the iron because we should’ve reported it earlier? And didn’t care about the moldy shoes. And he didn’t give us cleaning supply, only gave us one small tide pod. I would recommend this place to larger parties because it was nice for us (5girls) to stay there as it was spacious. But the service is awful. You do have to clean up after yourself and throw trash away on the street st the end of your stay. Metros within 10 minutes walking.

Balcony in the unit was great for seeing the city and enjoying a coffee or cocktail. The rooms were clean and we had plenty of towels for our group of 4. The unit came with a cleaning pack to help keep the place tidy throughout our stay (trash bags, dish soap, etc) since you don’t get any cleaning service during your stay. Our favorite part of the property was the pool on the roof. While quite small (more like a plunge pool) the pool has incredible views over the city and was always open for us to enjoy! The gym is very limited (1 bike, 1 treadmill) but available. Only complaint was that our stove didn’t work - couldn’t get it to work the entire stay - and no beach towels are provided for use and you’re banned from using the bathroom towels.

Convenient localtion. The apartment we lived was on 1st floor which is a bit dark. There are insets in the room which I understand it’s hard to avoid in the hot weather.

5 of us stayed in a 2 bed apartment. There was lots of room and facilities were generally good. Lots of places of eat close by and a good 20-30 minute walk from the gothic area.

Overall wasn't a great stay for us. Check-in took over 20 minutes as the staff member served people who arrived after us first so we had to sit and wait. The room which stated had city views when we booked had a view of a pretty dirty back alley and no city at all. The bathroom had mould on the roof. No remote control for the TV in the bedroom. Remote in lounge didn't work as batteries must have been flat. The shower head was very small though had decent pressure and was removable. Should have read the fine print as there was no daily house keeping unless u wanted to pay 45 euro though we should have known this being a serviced apartment. Spare pillows didn't have pillow cases. Only one lift out of two worked though this wasn't a big problem for us. On our second night water started pouring from the bathroom roof around 8am so we had to change rooms and waited for over an hour till another became available. The room we were moved into was way nicer, cleaner and had the city views. If we had of been in that one or something similar from night one it our stay would have been perfect I think.

far from main attractions, at least 15 min walk for subway, you can hear noises, door closing from other apartments, it said reception 24 hours a day but there is nobody at reception,(staff sitting behind reception desk ) or reception closed early morning, no balcony or place to sit outside

Thank you for your comments, sorry but the reception in this building is 24h, we are at the entrance to the building. We manage from this reception that building and 10 more in Barcelona. Sorry for the balconies but that building is not provided with them, we have more building with a large terrace but not this one.

We (4 adults) stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment which was a good size however the air-conditioning wasn't working during our stay. We complained twice but it appeared that the system wasn't turned on as we kept getting fobbed off with lots of different stories/ excuses. We stayed in late May and it was far too warm in the apartment so we needed to keep the windows and doors open all the time (resulting in mosquito bites!). The staff that we spoke to were quite rude and dismissive about the lack of air-conditioning. We also had access to the room-top gym and swimming pool. The gym consists of a treadmill and an exercise bike (which we didn't use). The 'swimming pool' had no water in it (despite it supposedly being open in May) but was absolutely tiny anyway so I didn't bother to complain! The inside of the apartment was clean however the table on the balcony didn't appear to have been cleaned for some time. The balcony itself was very large however and a great place to sit out and enjoy a beer

Gracias por su tiempo en comentar su estancia, sobre el tema del aire acondicionado hay meses en los que el aire se desconecta, no es que no funcione, si se alojó en estas fechas talvez era el motivo. Durante el mes de mayo, a pesar de que las temperaturas han sido bajas en Barcelona, el aire acondicionado estaba ya conectado. Lamentamos que se haya llevado una impresión equivocada ya que en ningún momento se ponen excusas, simplemente era que no estaba conectado aún el aire acondicionado en el edificio. El acceso a la piscina y el gimnasio, el acceso está limitado, debido a que es un espacio reducido, por ese motivo no tiene acceso todo el edificio. En las fotos del apartamento puede ver, antes de reservar que dimensiones tiene. Debido a las bajas temperaturas que han habido durante estos meses, la piscina no estaba operativa.

small external window that opened up onto an small alley or laneway and we couldn’t even get the roller blind to go up on it. It was broken. The other windows opened up to internal spaces. There is only something there from 9am to 8 pm so a late check in would be difficult.

Comfortable stay for 2 couples.
We were 2 couples staying 3 nights after our cruise. Luggage storage was great since we arrived so early. Having 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths was a plus. We had some difficulty using the combo washer/dryer which left our clothes quite damp and wrinkled. The kitchen does have a microwave and stovetop, but no oven. The location is a bit off the beaten path, but it was very comfortable walking in the neighborhood and MyTaxi was quick when needed. Added bonus was the restaurant right around the corner Roux Bar! Best meal in Barcelona!!

Loved staying there. Really affordable and had everything needed for a 6 day stay. Location was great, close to the metro as well as close to many coffee shops and places to grab a drink. Close to many small convinence stores too. The only things I would ask for improvements on are the washer/ dryer they had in the room. It was complicated to use and took about 4 hours and my clothes were still damp after. Other than that the place felt safe, and was very quiet. Loved it.

Spacious, Modern Aparthotel
The aparthotel is located in Eixample and as many nearby options for eating and drinks, all away from the touristy crowds. The Apartment was spacious, with two large good sized bedrooms, a well furnished living room/kitchen and large roof terrace. Was perfect for a long weekend stay in the city. Staff we helpful at check in, then it's over to you to enjoy your stay.

Good base.
We were more than happy with our stay. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. We stayed for 5 nights and as there is no daily room service ( which we knew about ) we were pleased to find a change of bedding and an extra set of towels. It's close to Gran Via so easy to get about and plenty of places to eat. There is also a small supermarket a few doors away.
