lovely hotel in main shopping street , close to old town , the staff are helpful the room is clean and comfortable, love to go back to this hotel

A touch of luxury in a great location

Pros: The staff, the location and he comfort.
Cons: Perhaps more lounge space.
Location: The Place de Cataluna and the Ramblas are within easy walking distance. Gaudi's Casa Batllo is 2 minutes away as is La Pedrera. Good restaurants.
We don't usually stay in 5 (or even 4) star hotels so this was a special break for us and it lived up to our expectations. The staff were friendly and very efficient and the room was quiet, well appointed and comfortable. The restaurant and bar were expensive but we enjoyed a cocktail and tapas on our first night. The location was perfect - plenty of attractions nearby plus a metro station.

A Palace recently and impeccably renovated.

Pros: The hotel is luxurious, very clean and functional, even perfumed. Rooms are very comfortable, spacious, thought-out. Gastronomic healthy dining.
Cons: The only sad thing is that one has to leave at the end of one's stay!
Location: Best location in terms of safety; central and near luxury shops and Gaudi's architecture; and access to main streets if going out on excursion
I spent 4 nights at the Majestic. The atmosphere, the architecture and decoration, the quality of the room, the linens and amenities, as well as the service is impeccable. Recently renovated, everything is new, clean, functional and modern. The staff is kind, able and attentive. The new Chef offers a gastronomic cuisine, original and well executed. Well located, my stay was memorable.

Pros: Location, friendly staff.
Cons: Spa
Location: Location is good for eating and shopping.
Had a good experience. Friendly and helpful staff, but their spa need to be improved.

Excellente situation , personnel efficace

Pros: L'accueil la disponibilité du personnel , les petits déjeuners
Cons: Isolation phonique pour les chambres donnant côté rue
Location: Fondation Tapiès , magasins de luxe sur le paseo de gracias , la pedrera
Un moment magique qui passe trop vite , l'hôtel est superbe

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location.
Location: Short drive around to Portofino. Easy to Cinque Terre by train. Not so good for restaurants in quiet season but staff recommended Camogli - v good.
Really enjoyed our stay due to the very professional and helpful staff. They went out of their way to assist. Breakfast was very good and as it was quiet it was prepared specially for us and mostly not on the usual buffet. Location is good for travel to Cinque Terre and Genoa and stay made this trip easy.

Beautiful Barcelona

Pros: Position, elegance and staff.
Cons: The restaurant was very quiet and the food not up to the standard we expected, however the bar food was good and we wished we had eaten there instead.
Location: Excellent location near by to many venues. Some within walking distance.
An excellent four days at the Majestic with an upgrade to an executive room on arrival. The hotel was well positioned for all sightseeing and the staff so helpful, with the concierge booking trips for us each morning. On my husband's birthday they placed in our room a bottle of Spanish bubbly and a cake.

Pros: The bathroom is spacious and the bed is comfortable.
It is a reliable, safe hotel in a very good shopping location. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that they added a donation charge of 1 euro for the Children's Christmas fund automatically to your bill without asking. As a tourist, 1 Euro is not a lot of money, but to automatically charge to your bill is a bit uncouth. Other than that our stay was pleasant.

As usual this hotel stands up to it's 5 star. Good location, good shopping, just a pleasant hotel to stay in.
