Tiny hotel, large rooms, great location!Posted Jul 19, 2014
Pros: We liked that it was not a big commercial hotel so we were given personalized service.
Cons: We are a family who take a lot of showers (it was very hot outside) and they didn't have enough hot water. Dishwasher and stove not working.
Location: A short walk to Jaume I Metro station, which is one stop away to the beach (Barceloneta), few stops to the famous Sagrada Familia & the Magic Fountain
This very nice hotel is very close to the Metro station and walking distance to shops, restaurants, stores and tourist attractions. We had a loft, which gave our girls a bedroom to themselves. But what made our stay really great was the attentiveness of the staff. We were able to save a lot of money by going to places on our own (with the directions they gave us).

Couldn't have been in a more perfect location. Walking distance to excellent cafés/restaurants. Metro station is across the road. Tourist bus stop just around the corner. Absolutely loved the room. Very stylish!

Nice Hotel, close to everythingPosted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: Room was large, wifi was great, while breakfast area was small, they offered everything you would need to get you going for the day
Cons: Shower and WC are quite small, especially for the size of the room.
Location: All major attractions are within walking distance as well as shopping and restaurants, no taxi needed at all.
Hotel was very nice, room was large however bathroom was small. Breakfast was fine and internet in the room was very good. Within walking distance to all attractions and great restaurants and shopping. Hotel was difficult to find but staff member was very helpful and eventually came to the main street to get us.

Fantastic boutique hotelPosted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: Staff and the location, style and quality of the hotel.
Location: Set in the gothic quarter. 5 mins walk to La Rambla and the port with its beautiful waterfront. Markets, shopping, cafes and restaurants all nearby.
Lovely boutique hotel. It's location makes it easy to get around this beautiful city. There are 2 metro stops within a couple of minutes but we travelled mostly by foot as it was so easy. The hotel rooms are superb, great size, comfortable and very modern. Bathroom great size and shower to die for. Reception staff are all fantastic, friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast room is a beautiful room to start your day and food selection is great with a choice of hot and cold breakfast........great quality. The chef cooks all hot food to order so it is always fresh. She is a great chef and made us the best scrambled eggs we have ever tasted. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona and we will certainly be booking again on our next visit.

Heart of BarcelonaPosted Jun 7, 2014
The hotel was such a surprise! The reception staff were helpful and pleasant, the room was amazing and more like a suite as it had a desperate room with twin beds, and a kitchen area. The bed was probably the most comfortable I've slept in. The location was great as it was right in the gothic and Ribera areas which are more relaxed than the tourist areas of the rambla. Overall it was excellent. Highly recommended.

Stylish hotel well located.Posted Jun 2, 2014
Pros: Stylish, well equipped and large rooms. Well located.
Cons: A door on the main bedroom area would have been good for privacy.
Location: It's very close to the Picasso museum and the warren of small shops and bars/restaurants of the Barri Gotic, but also the beach and Ramblas.
This is a pretty nice hotel - stylish and clean and well located for most of Barcelona's attractions in the Barri Gotic. The suite we stayed in was very well equipped and large. The area is a bit lively so is occasionally a bit noisy late into the evening. One of the less good features is that the main bedroom area, which is also part of the main living area has no door, so if you've got kids in another room, and want some privacy this doesn't work too well. The hotel staff were good - changed the pillows very quickly when I said I found the standard pillows too deep.
