The hotel was very charming, in a prime location and was very well appointed. The only downfall is that you can hear everything that is happening on the street. Other than that the hotel was perfect!!

I would certainly stay here again! The room we had was perfect for a family of four and the location was ideal! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful!

This was a very nice room in a building downtown, close to Las ramblas. We were in a 2 bedroom loft, which easily accommodated our family of 4. I guess I wasn't as prepared for the area, which seemed a little rough around the edges. This is probably perfect for some -- maybe 20 something singles looking to have a good time, but not quite as family friendly as we were looking for with our young kids. Overall, this is a great value and we had a good stay.

Service was amazing. Stefano and Cecilia were very accommodating and their assistance was much appreciated. Great team. The rooms are big and dated. Not a lot of upkeep. Paint on walls is peeling and the room was VERY dark. They feel old and neglected.

Great find!
What a hidden gem! The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The location was ideal for on-foot exploration. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were airconditioned. Elevator was available. Breakfast was included. I would definitely stay again.

Nice hotel in a great location
We stayed at Mercer House Boria for 4 days on our first visit to Barcelona. The service was excellent. The front desk team was super helpful. They booked taxis, and restaurants, and made several other valuable recommendations. The beds were comfortable, and the room was clean, although somewhat dimly lit. The location was ideal...on the border of El Born and Barri Gotic, with a metro station a block away, we found it easy to get to most of the attractions a first-time visitor would want to see.

The location is perfect for access to the Picasso Museum. The staff was so professional and accommodating. They helped with directions and answered all our inquiries about restaurants in the area. We would definitely stay there again in our future trips to Barcelona.

Great place to stay!
We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were great. There was lots of space for our large group. The rooms are like small apartments and in Europe, it was a great find! It’s difficult to find larger places to stay that can accommodate a family of 4. The breakfast was good and the staff and service was amazing. The location was great! Our room was on the top floor and the roof had a leak but the buildings are old so it wasn’t surprising. The staff was quick to respond. I would definitely stay again!

The room was so hot it took the whole night for the air conditioner to cool the room down. No one in the family slept well and was very uncomfortable

Well first for Americans- Europe is weird - small elevators etc but extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Beautiful large suite. Great hotel. Hard to find but can drivers walked us there. Narrow streets and great shopping and restaurants surrounded. 3 teen boys loved nearby Luigi’s pizza.

Our day was wonderful! The room was spacious, clean, and offered many amenities. And when I say, spacious, I mean spacious! The location of the hotel is in close proximity to anything and everything you would ever need or want. My favorite part of our stay by far was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. 24 hours a day a staff person was present in the lobby, willing and able to help with anything that we needed. One night they called and made us a reservation at a restaurant for 17 people. Three minutes later we had walked to the restaurant and our party was seated. They arranged for taxis for us to the airport as well. I left one of my bags in the back of the taxi and they were able to track the bag down for me when I called them from the airport. It just seems like they went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. I would most definitely stay at this hotel again if I return to Barcelona. Again, favorite things about this hotel, spacious, clean, amazing rooms, and the excellent staff!!!

Amazing staff. Great location, but the area around the hotel is a little grimy. The electrical outlets were a little quirky. I love that they have staff on site 24 hours.

The hotel was excellent. The desk personnel were super friendly and welcomed us. The room was much more spacious than expected and the beds were amazing. We had to leave our luggage for a couple hours after check out and the staff was happy to accommodate and safely store our bags. Will definitely stay there when we visit Barcelona again!
