Nice hotel and location with friendly staffPosted Nov 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel was in a good location, close to a metro stop. Nice rooms but could be cleaner. There was an issue with the air conditioning unit that I still don't understand. They control part of it outside of your unit in the room, so you have to tell them what you want it at. But the staff was very friendly and overall a great find.

This little hotel in the Sant Pere district is a true find. Just book it, you'll be glad you did.

Barcelona Wonderful; Musik an Excellent HotelPosted Nov 5, 2013
Pros: Excellent location. Nice boutique decor. Room kept clean. Staff very friendly.
Cons: A bit pricey but overall worth it.
Location: Walk to:- La Rambla, Placa Reial, the beach numerous bars & cafes. Recommend Elsa & Freds café just up the road. Le Grande Café & Martinez.
Barcelona a wonderful place for a holiday/weekend break, we went in late October 2013 for a week & the weather was marvelous. Hotels location is in the Gothic Quarter within easy walking distance for most things. We visited Camp Nou & the Cathedral via metro. Hotel staff very friendly & knowledgeable. Room clean & very comfortable, we are night owls & slept in late; the cleaning staff always came back cleaned, changed the towels & made the bed. Very enjoyable stay we want to go back in the near future.

Great find!Posted Oct 29, 2013
Pros: Its location in the Gothic quarter was excellent. It was quiet and unpretentious. Good breakfast, and clean room. My daughter could pipe her own music
Cons: Clarify that twin bedded rooms need to be booked in advance. Secure the shower head better. Include breakfast in the room price.
Location: Great location. We booked 1/2 day cycle trip in Gothic quarter, and found great restaurant off G Orwell Square. Big market off La Rambla worth a visit
I chose this hotel because it offered both twin and double bedded accommodation. When we arrived however we found that there were no twin beds available, so I ended up having to share a double bed with my daughter. Not the best of starts, though we managed OK. We stayed 3 nights, and were offered a free breakfast the first morning which was a nice touch. The bedroom was clean and quiet, which we appreciated as we were able to open the french windows at night without being disturbed. The shower worked well, but annoyingly didn't stay at the same angle when the water was turned to full pressure. The breakfast was good, and the staff helpful.

Great Central HotelPosted Oct 7, 2013
Cons: It would be good if there was tea and coffee making facilities in the room. However there was a mini bar ,everything you could need in the bathroom.
We arrived at night and were a bit concerned re the hotel's situation down a side street but this was totally alleviated the next morning when we went for a walk before breakfast in the surrounding area . The hotel is immaculate ,the staff went out of their way to be helpful and the breakfast was one of the best continental breakfast buffets I have seen ( it included hot food!) . It is extremely central and many interesting sites are within easy walking distance.

Convenient central, though quiet, locationPosted Oct 2, 2013
Pros: Numerous benifits noted above
Cons: No negatives
Location: Location good for the various reasons given above
Very pleasant modern hotel with bright interior in excellent location on the edge of the old Barri Gotic district of the city. Within close walking distance of many of the city's famous attractions yet within a myriad of quaint & captivating side streets full of interesting small shops & eating places. Also close (5 minutes) to the beaitiful city park -Parc de la Cuitadella The hotel is very reasonably priced, the staff very helpful - & for this lazy Scotsman who can speak little Spanish, the reception staff spoke excellent English. Our room was modern, good-sized, kept really clean & the shower room so up to date & with a lovely double sized shower, cascading plenty of water! Breakfast was a joy with good variety. You won't need to eat again until your evening meal out! Hotel is close to a bus stop for the popular open topped sightseeing buses & a short 5 or 10 minute walk to the city centre square Placa de Catalunya -where also the bus from the airport makes a stop.
