Clean hotel close to comprehensive metro.

Pros: Cleanliness and approachability of reception staff.
Cons: Tea and coffee making facilities in rooms.
Comfortable room which would benefit from tea/coffee making facilities. Reception staff very helpful.

Lovely hotel!

Pros: Lovely facilities, large room & extremely clean.
Cons: The only downside was the local area didn't really have that much to do. However a taxi to the center was only around 12 Euros.
Location: As above.
Lovely Hotel, slightly further out from the center but only around a 10min journey on the metro to the very center of Barcelona! Extremely clean and spacious rooms and facilities. The staff were lovely and always willing to offer advice on where to go/how to get there etc! Great stay!

Quiet & out if the way - walking shows or metro

Posted Apr 2, 2014
An average hotel, bit tired but clean and as expected for price. Comfy and quiet (could hear the road but didn't bother us). Not for nightlife lovers or those who want to be in the hub.

Pros: The staff and location
Cons: The tea and coffee in the lobby should be complimentary for guests. They charge 2 euros for a simple bag of chamomile and you have to prepare it
Hotel has an excellent location. The facility is in very good condition. The staff is excellent and very helpful. We arrived early and they gave us the room since it was available. Breakfast is very expensive and is not really good, you can have a good breakfast in several places just a few steps from the hotel. Overall we are very satisfied and definitively we recommend this hotel

Away from the maddening crowds

A well kept and and very clean hotel that mostly caters to the business community. Desk staff is very helpful. They know the area very well and had great recommendations for restaurants and tourist attractions.

value for money

Posted Oct 6, 2013
Pros: Clean and comfortable room. helpful staff who speaks good english
Location: many restaurants and cafes within walking distance. 10 mins walk to urgell station. Aero bus also stops near the hotel for easy airport transfer.
NH master is about 10 mins walk to urgell station which is relatively convenient to most attractions in barcelona. Room was new, comfortable and clean. Hotel staff speaks good english and are very helpful. As compared to other hotels in barcelona, its price is really good. I will say value for money and will recommend to anyone who doesn't mind a 10 min walk to the Metro station.

Good value for money but be prepared to walk a bit

Posted Oct 4, 2013
Pros: Clean, near the University of Barcelona, lots of cafes & restaurants nearby
Location: Needs walking to/back from metro stations, but a nice area
Went on a business trip for 3 nights. I had stayed in the hotel before but had got a much nicer and bigger room with a window to the main street. This time the room was WAY smaller, and the window opened onto some kind of internal space, facing other rooms with similar arrangements, so no privacy and nothing to look at. Everything else was OK, but this hotel is not close to metro stations, so be prepared to walk 300 metres. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful, but cheap it ain't -- spread your money into the local economy by having breakfast in one of the many small bars nearby. Coffee and pastries are excellent everywhere in Barcelona.
