“new year´s in BCN”

The hotel is ok, good location in a quiet and safe area of Barcelona. The room was a bit small and hot (they dont turn on the air conditioner in december so we have to sleep with the windows open) and also it could use a few extra lamps.

“Meehh nothing write home”

If you are traveling for business and someone else is paying your bill then by all mean stay. The hotel is well located, and by well I mean transport, bus, metro and San Estacio. . The biggest bug bear is the internet. For a hotel this size to have no access to free wifi, and the paid services are less than acceptable. Clearly making money is the hotel aim, so find another hotel there are plenty around. The staff were stiff and business like, not a bad thing but can come across as unfriendly.

“Good hotel but far from downtown”

Decent 4* hotel, nothing fantastic, just ok. A little far from downtown Rambla and the Port though.

“Great hotel BUT no working air conditioning.”

A few of us stayed in this hotel for a few nights, in various rooms across the building. We were all impressed with how clean the rooms were, the size of them and generally how nice they were. The rest of the hotel itself too was very nice, all very modern. The staff were very friendly and all spoke English. Plus having the free wifi in the lobby was very useful, you just have to ask for a code to get access for 30min. BUT, it seems to save money the hotel doesn't turn on the air conditioning outside of the summer period. Your can control it in your room, but it doesn't blow out cold air. All the rooms were incredibly unbearable to sleep in. My room looked out into a courtyard so even with the window open at night there was no breeze so it didn't make a difference. Such a shame, as otherwise this is an excellent hotel, let down by poor air conditioning.

Need to improve the service and polite with customers, need to be friendly.
