“quality service in convenient central location”

Courteous service 2 days before we stayed with concierge agreeing to store excess luggage until our stay. Room spacious and roof top pool magical. Location near 'Arc de triomphe"" turned out to be entry to interesting cafes and family plazas and felt very safe after dark. Definitely one to recommend for visiting Barcelona.

This was just a great hotel to find in such a trendy part of Barcelona.It was very clean with modern,well equiped bedrooms that have every amenity you could possibly require.The staff were friendly and polite and the location is just fantastic,right near the giant cortes ingles shopping center.

“Quietly comfortable”

Spent 4 nights here in late August and was surprised at how quiet the hotel was. We used the rooftop terrace and swimming pool a lot and it was very pleasant - always space to sit and swim. The staff were very helpful to with any requests. Thought breakfast a little expensive so went to local cafes and also ate out in the evenings so can't comment on the hotel food. Location was good, but a bit of a walk to anywhere interesting. Internet wasn't available in the rooms, but we did get some free wifi access in the lobby. Recommend this hotel to anyone who likes a relaxing holiday.

“Great spot in Barcelona!”

Great hotel in great quite area, but easy to walk to many great sections of Barcelona. The roof top pool and lounge area is awesome! Makes the hotel! The gym could use some updating, but was able to get workouts in.

“Best decision I made”

The Nh Podium was excellant. When we booked we got 2 twin beds but they switched us to a dbl. Airline pilots and crew also stay there. The room was very clean, quiet. The bed was firm. 3 TV stations in English(Bloomberg, CNN International and RT(Russia Today). There was a safe in the room and nice view from the balcony. Easy char, desk/chair and mini-bar. Modern bathroom(new fictures, etc). The hallway and bathroom are 3 steps up from the bedroom and in there own seperate area. We didn't use the gym, sauna or pool but took a look. It is well stocked and very very clean. Great location. 2 blocks outside old city but very quiet, not a tourist corner. 2 blocks to Metro(no cab needed) and about 900 yards to train stop to airport. Cab ride to train for 2(and lugguge) and train to airport was 12 euros for 2. Excellant coffee shop and inexpensive tapas restaurant between Metro and Hotel.

“excellent spot for a Barcelona visit”

I was only there one evening, but wish I had booked it when I returned after a quick trip to Bilbao...the NH Podium is much nicer than the nearby NH Duc de la Victoria. The pool and view are terrific and the neighborhood is close to many sites, but a bit away from Las Ramblas and the crowds. Very good value for the money. The only disappointment was the workout room, but then many European hotel workout rooms are an after-thought with second rate equipment even in 5-star hotels.

“couple's long weekend sight seeing”

A smart looking hotel, spacious, modern interior and good value for money. It is in a quieter part of town, but only 5 minutes walk from some main attractions, in fact we only used the metro a couple of times. It was too cold for us to try the pool in early March, but this is a nice feature!

Very nice hotel in a quiet but convenient part of town. Metro station very close by. Staff let us check in to our room very early and gave us useful advice about town.

Nice hotel, stayed for one weekend. Centrally located within easy access to main areas, 15 min walk approx. Clean and comfortable room, would happily stay again. Thought breakfast was expensive so we ate out very reasonably.
