Ideally placedPosted Nov 20, 2013
Pros: It is located just off La Rambla, yet we slept really well as it was very quiet.
Cons: Tea and Coffee making facilities in the room, oh how very British lol
Location: Easy access to all places of interest walking or by the Metro, fab restaurants , bars or Tapas bars, loved it all felt very safe whilst out and about.
Booked a 5 night stay and we were pleasantly surprised by this hotel, loved our stay right on La Rambla , fabulous Barcelona. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Traditional and very pleasantPosted Nov 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
Have stayed three times and always enjoyed very pleasant staff, great location, clean and more than adequate accommodations. A little old fashioned in a good way!

Location: Heart of the tourist zone, just off la Rambla.
A good enough hotel; clean room, competent staff. A good location; especially if you like tourists. Be sure you understand the wi-fi billing before you sign up.

Lovely hotel, near all main sites, cafés, bars etcPosted Nov 9, 2013
Pros: Hot power showers Reception area was beautiful Two minutes from airport bus terminus
Location: Two minutes from airport bus terminus and from both tourist hop on hop off buses All main sites in walking distance,
We had a great short break. Perfect for all the sites. Lower floor room, so could be a bit noisy but for only short periods, but it is in the city centre so should be expected. Lovely 1920 period reception area, with modern decoration of rooms but retaining some period features. Sowers in adjoining rooms could be heard but no wonder, water pressure fantastic. After a day striding the streets of this wonderful city a hot power shower is what you need, it was like the water jets in a spa in Budapest! Staff were very helpful and could speak good English, a disappointment to my husband who wanted to practice his newly leant Spanish language skills.

Great Location Close to La Ramble on a walk LanePosted Nov 7, 2013
Pros: Loved the location It was very comfortable for the price paid Helpful staff except there was no help to get suit cases in and out of the front door
Cons: An availability to make hot drinks in your room A little help with suitcases in and out the front doors
Location: Great location just off La Ramble close to a great many shops cafes and bars. A short walk to the Cathedral A nice walk down to the water front
Small Gothic Hotel. Compact and clean and furniture to match but all very comfortable. Bed was very comfortable Plenty of hot water and a good shower Enjoyed the shops, cafes including Starbucks coffee close by Had an easy walk to the waterfront and most of the sights A little bit noisy at time as there was no sound proofing and tiled floors so got woken up during the nights

Pros: It was a very nice and clean room with plenty of room. We had a nice dinner
Cons: breakfast charge.
Location: Good location. and helpful staff.
We had a very good experience, but resented to have to give 20e in cash to the hotel clerk to obtain a remote for the TV in the room. I feel h should have let me put it on a Visa or on my room bill. Also I somewhat resent having to pay 1.50e for a telephone wakeup call. Also, I had to pay 12e for breakfast that was not a huge breakfast. We should have been able to simply pay for what we wanted rather than for everything. We on ly ate some fruit and a yogurtand 12 euros seemed rather pricey.
