“Impressing 'old-style' hotel”

It is a wonderful 'art-deco' style hotel located in the nearest vicinity on the Place de Catalunya and la Rambla. At the same time it was very quiet there. The lobby is impressive and beautiful. The room was tiny, but so comfortably furnished that it was not a problem. The service was friendly and helpful.

“Ideal location”

The hotel is ideally located in the Old Town and its reception staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast service does not start until 8am which was not an issue for us but could be if you had an early flight.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. Staff members were warm and welcoming. They were very accommodating, allowing us to check in before the prescribed time. Location was central to La Rambla and other tourist sites. A very pleasant experience.

Great Hotel, Very Clean, Staff Friendly and helpful, Didn,t eat there but lots of little cafes near by! Well Positioned for easy access of the metro and for the train from the airport! Barcelona Card also recommended

Quiet, clean and perfect location near La Rambla and Plaza Catalunya where Airport bus terminates. Staff were most helpful and friendly especially Manager. El Mos across lane ideal for breakfast. No problem with early check in and stored luggage.Would definately stay here again. Wireless internet in hotel, small charge. Internet cafe not common in Barcelona. We used Work Centres in La Universitat. Also one other Work Centre in Barcelona. Tourist Info Centre in Plaza Catalunya excellent. Close to Metro. Catch trains and cable car to Montserrat. Well worth it.

“Great Service, Great Location.”

Hotel is nice, clean and has big rooms with American style showers. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. There is a small charge for hourly WIFI internet access. Breakfast is available for extra but I never tried it. The hotel is located close to Plaza Catalunya at the beginning of the Ramblas. I didn't find the hotel too noisy. However my last night there was the night that FC Barcelona beat Manchester United for the European title. Needless to say it was a little noisy that night!

“Great location - friendly and efficient staff”

Just returned from a 3 night stay at this hotel. Hotel is in side street just off La Ramblas and as we had a room at the back, it was very quiet. Staff were wonderfully helpful with advice on where to go and how best to get to places; booking us on a couple of trips. They anticipated that we would need a taxi at the end of our stay. The restaurant attached to the hotel was also excellent and we had a first class dinner on our first night and an excellent lunch on our last day. Room was clean and tidy and our triple room (3 ladies of a certain age!) was a good size. Great place to spend a weekend in this wonderful city.

“Room for suitcases!”

This triple room was big enough for the three of us and our suitcases. The hotel is well-located just off La Rambla at the top of the hill. Walking distance to Casa Batllo, which is well worth seeing.

“Spot on”

Great location very near Plaça Catlyuna and Las Rambla. We stayed in two rooms and both were clean and quite. The front desk was friendly and helpful. Access using the Aerobus from the airport to Plaça Catlyuna followed by a short walk was very easy.
