Amazing hotel in an excellent location

Posted Jul 14, 2014
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, this hotel didn't disappoint. We were greeted as soon as we walked through the door by the concierge team who couldn't have helped us more throughout our stay. Our bedroom was beautiful, extremely clean, very modern and the bed was really comfy. We slept so well every night. The staff were all really friendly and the breakfast was amazing. The hotel is located in a brilliant position. Close to the beach, train stations, bus stops, restaurants. You're in the middle of everything. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, and would definitely love to return one day.

Nice Hotel

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Its location and the concierge staff were very good.
Spent 4 night there. Hotel concierge staff was great; breakfast staff was just ok....not warm and friendly. The location was great within easy walking distance to most everything. The hotel room was adequate; the all-glass shower was revealing and leaked. The gym was minimal but adequate. The rooftop pool was cool but places were limited.

Heart of the city

Posted Jul 13, 2014
Pros: Central location in the old district but very modern rooms.
Location: La Ramblas and Barcelona Cathedral very short walk away. Tourist bus leaves from nearby Placa Catalunya.
Many of the highlights are close to the hotel or easily reached by bus or Metro. Hotel is very modern and comfortable. Very helpful staff

Great hotel in a great location!

Ohla is an amazing hotel in a great location! Their chill out terrace is a lovely haven away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Staff are very friendly and willing to go that 'extra mile'! I will definitely recommend this hotel and return again, great hotel for couples :)

Great Location

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: Reception area is a bit funky, with concierge desk on the ground floor and reception in an awkward space on the mezzanine. Suggest they redesign!
Originally disappointed with the size and facilities of the Junior Suite we booked, but they changed the room (to one with two hand basins) and we found it very comfortable and well appointed. Ohla Hotel is a great location and the staff were universally friendly and helpful. The tapas bar and restaurant are both excellent, as is the cocktail bar, if you don't mind the prices!

Take a torch and a shower curtain!

Posted Jun 22, 2014
My title us lounge in cheek, but the ultra modern minimalistic style and choice of colour (black), means the stair case is very dark and difficult to see the step in front of you. Then there's the showers, which is not in a bathroom, it's in the muddle of the room. The glass is not opaque, anyone else in the room can see everything! The staff are excellent though, very helpful and friendly. It's also in a great central location.

Well located boutique style hotel in Barcelona

Posted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: Rooftop bar and pool, though can get quite busy especially at the weekend. Staff attentive but discreet.
Cons: Better choice of TV channels eg films.
Location: Close to shops of gothic quarter and las Ramblas, also to Pl.Catalunya (main square) from where can travel to most tourist sites and for bus to rt
Very nice hotel located within gothic quarter with easy access to shopping, restaurants and many sites. Great view from pool and bar located on roof, a great place to relax before going out in the evening or take a night cap before bed!

Lovely hotel,perfect location.Amazing roof terrace

Posted Jun 8, 2014
The second time this year we have stayed at this hotel, return visit was not a disappointment.Hotel staff are friendly and helpfull, some delicious chocolates wer sent to our room on the first night to welcome us back, nice touch. The hotel bar is very reasonable for drinks, however the roof terrace which you would expect to be expensive was abit ridiculous,€32 for 2 very small mojitos with hardly any rum in.A bottle of cava was only €25 though which was totally exceptable. Will defiantly be returning, much recommended hotel that ticks all the boxes to someone that's very hard to please.
