“I will not recomend this hotel”
I did not like the way the ligth's works in the room, it is very difficult to know wich swicth you have to press to make it work. The Bathroom is too could because it is only separeted from the bedroom by a half wall. The food and service was good. The location is excelent if you like to go shoping.
“Best location in Barcelona”
Unbelievable location and excellent staff! I could not believe the views of the whimsical rooftop chimneys of the Pedrera lit up right in front of me when I went to the Omm's rooftop terrace our first night in Barcelona. I chose the Hotel Omm primarily for its location to allow for ease of access to tourist buses and the metro. The location allowed us easy access to everything with very little walking to the metro and bus stops right at the Pedrera which is very close to the Omm. It's in a beautiful upscale location but close enough to the Placa Calatunya and Rambla to get there easily as well. The staff could not have been better. After experiencing a trying trip of delayed and missed flights and lost luggage, we were immediately assisted by the front desk staff who did everything they could to get our luggage, suggest shopping locations complete with map and directions, overlook our lack of proper clothing and hairstyling tools, and provide whatever we needed promptly and graciously. They always recognized and greeted us whenever we entered the hotel. The wait staff was also impressive as they went from table to table switching from Spanish to English to French with ease. Top notch in every way! I highly recommend the Hotel Omm to anyone travelling to Barcelona.
“Great location in Barcelona”
Our family of 4, which included two older teenagers, booked 2 rooms for our stay over Christmas. We were a bit apprehensive upon reading some less than positive reviews, however our experience was fine. The hallways are very dark black with minimal strips of lighting on the floors and by the door numbers which our teenagers thought was awesome and the adults needed to get used to. Everyone liked the modern decor and thought the beds were comfy enough. We did not have much problem figuring out the lighting system (just need to leave your room key in a slot by the door for the lights to stay on) and found out later in the trip that it is common to other hotels as well. We had rooms with a view of Casa Mila which was awesome, however there was street noise including some loud trash removal in the middle of the night! But if you want the view then you have to take some noise. The hotel is very close to many of the great sites of Barcelona. The employees were all nice and spoke English. We were taken right up to our rooms upon a 10 am arrival even though check in is in the afternoon which was appreciated after a long plane ride. One of the two rooms had a rug that looked dirty and worn but other than that maintenance wasn't bad. The bath layout is strange with the sinks in a different area but it was not always such a bad thing when you have people trying to get ready at the same time. The lobby is a great place to hang out and the cafe/bar food was good.
“Barcelona amazing hotel”
Great ambiance great people great service the souflet au chocolat is not to be missed
“One of the bests !!!”
Beautiful , Chic and near the main street
“Modern Barcelona Hotel”
Hotel Omm was everthing we expected. Very modern and clean lines. Bar on rooftop nice. The hotel is located in a good area to walk and covered parking was available at an additional cost.
“Friendly and Hip”
Stayed in varied properties in BCN, whilst there are many new and stylish options, some tend to be somewhat overdone in design versus practicality and purpose. Whilst the Omm by now is a great central meeting point and they do get the service delivery right, other properties ıe. Casa Fuster or the new Oriental are evenly worth the experience.
“Great style! Excellent location.”
Beautiful, modern, high-tech hotel. Convenient location - near Metro. Could see Casa Mila from our window. Nice rooftop terrace and pool. Very quiet, with subdued lighting in the hallways. Negatives: Quirky bathroom arrangement - tub, sink, and closets were on one side, hidden from the bedroom, but without a door; toilet and bidet (with a door) were in another room on the oterh side of the bedroom. Breakfast was quite expensive. It was a lovely spread, but there was no hot food. We couldn't find anyplace else in the neighborhood serving breakfast relatively early on a Sun. morning, so had to go ahead and eat there.
“Not impressed”
Excellent location, good service, but really bad acoustic and design - toilet next to the bed with flimsy door separating them???
“Hotel OMM in Barcelona”
This hotel has an extremely helpful staff. It is a great location and the hotel surprisingly in a hot spot at night (does not interfere with sleeping). The roof top pool/terracne is very nice. There is a great restaurant (Pexiample) just around the corner.
