“Fantastic hotel.”

Wonderful hotel with terrific staff. Great location 1 block from the beach and 2 blocks from a Metro station, 20 minutes walk from La Rambla. Hotel very well appointed with a nice pool. Everyone on the staff, from the Reception Desk to the Cleaning Staff, was committed to customer service at the highest level.

“Smart hotel in great location”

This is a lovely hotel in a geat location. You can walk to the beach in literally two minutes. A walk to the Rambla is about 25 minutes, but there are metro stops nearby if you prefer not to walk. When I arrived, I was told I had been given an upgrade to a room that had a balcony and a sea view. The room was clean and spacious and the views of the ocean were great. I did not get a chance to see the type of room I had originally booked, so the upgrade no doubt improved my experience a great deal. However, having said that, the hotel is clean and spacious, the staff are polite and helpful, and the lcoation is great. All in all, I would be happy to recommend the Pullman Skipper to others and will certainly consider staying there again if I return to Barcelona.

“A VERY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE”

This is truly a 5 star hotel. Well staffed, friendly, clean and more importantly perfectaly located near the Metro, City bus stops and the Hop on Hop off tourist bus stop. Great restaraunts, a casino and the beach nearby. If I return to Barcelona in the future I would not stay anywhere else. Also the free breakfast buffet is world class. Just a very pleasant experience all around. My only recommendation is they should provide a money exchange at the desk but the ATM'S are plentyful The only money exchanges are on the La Rambla and the rates are not in favor of tourists.

The pullman hotel is located startegically in the midst of excitement zone of hot barcelona. We loved the massage service and facial treatments. The pool on the roof. The beach was near by and plenty of tapas especially seafood ones are outstanding. My wife was exteremly happy about my choice. Cant wait to get back to the same room.

The room is comfi. WiFi free. Pulls are beautiful loking down to the beach and the city. All kind of transportation is right there. Maine attractions - walking distance!!! Could not be happier

“Top quality and location at a good price - we'll be back for more”

Grabbed a great weekend deal at 5-star hotel targetted at business-people, but not the sort of up-itself 5-star place you often get. Polite, helpful staff; great location 50m from the Barceloneta promenade but only three stops on the Metro to Passeig de Gracia; stylish rooms with multiple Freeview UK channels such as BBC3 and 4. 5 mins walk to small mall with 14-screen cimema, with about half showing "vose" films, ie English with subtitles. 15 mins on foot to Port Vella and the cable car to Montjuic - no part of the city is far away. And less than half an hour by cab (29 Euros) to the Airport.

“Absolutely perfect”

Stayed for 3 nights in this wonderful hotel, really wish it was for a lot longer. My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, one porter especially was the nicest guy i've ever met.. regrettably i did not get his name. Room was very well presented and the rooftop pool and bar was excellent. We will be coming back again to this hotel. 5 star status definitely deserved.

Here is my recent review of this hotel.. The GOOD - Amazing new hotel, elegant contemporary design - Spacious rooms - Amazing amenities in the room - Free Wireless Internet (Huge BONUS, No extra fees) - Excellent location beside the pier and the Barcelona Casino - 2 Minute walk to beach, beach restaurants - 10 Euro cab ride to the centre of the city where there is plenty of action, shopping and much much more. The BAD - Rooftop Pool was a little cold and Main pool was closed for repairs. Probably the time of year. - Minibar prices are slightly high compared to American prices. - Right next door to the Hospital so you could encounter a lot of sirens in the day when traffic is high. The UGLY - Nothing UGLY to report.
