“Renaissance Barcelona Airport hotel would get my business on a return trip.”

I can't say enough good things about the Renaissance Barcelona Airport hotel . . Check-in staff was accommodating and efficient. . the restaurant staff were attentive and executed their skills to the highest level, the concierge service was top notch (wish I hadn't prearranged some of our touring via the internet before arriving in Barcelona. . the concierge service arrangements were much better, and discounted) The free shuttle bus to airport and downtown worked out well for us. We were able to go to the center of downtown, but yet, our hotel allowed us to stay out of the city noise. We were right where we needed to be, close to the airport and the port, and easily able to go to downtown.

The staff are very friendly and very helpful. The restaurant is expensive and food tasted only so so, location is good for catching your flight out as time needed is less than statyng in town. Lacks coffe making facilities and internet is not free.

“Great airport hotel”

Chose this hotel because it is close to the airport for early flight out the next day. Arrived early in the morning after disembarking from cruise ship and taking a taxi to the hotel. We left the ship as early as possible and it was a good thing because we were first to check into the hotel. While we were waiting for the shuttle to Columbus circle (the first one doesn't leave until 11:00am) the lobby became packed with others coming from the ship and the line became very long for check in. The hotel held our luggage for us and delivered it to our room some time during the day while we were sightseeing in Barcelona. There was some confusion with all of the shuttles outside the hotel (hotel, cruise ships, airport) but we did get on the 11:00 shuttle and everything worked out fine. There is absolutely nothing around the hotel so you will want to get transportation into the city. Allow plenty of time taking the shuttle to the airport as there were a lot of people waiting and the shuttle only held about 15 people.

Very nice hotel, convenient to Barcelona's airport and rail line. The hotel has transport service to and from the airport and rail lines, convenient to hop on the metro or rail line and take into the heart of Barcelona. Very nice stay.

“Great airport hotel”

The hotel is extremely modern as can be seen when walking into the reception. It is very close to the airport and has a complementary shuttle to and from the terminals. The rooms are non smoking and large with really comfortable beds. Food was good at the bar/cafe although the service was a bit slow as they seemed understaffed to handle all the people that wanted a casual drink or something to eat. We did not eat in the main restaurant although the menu looked good. To use the internet in the business office was really expensive so we did not bother. We would recommend this hotel to everyone who expects good standards. You won't be disappointed.

Chose this hotel to be close to the airport. Great hotel; ate in the bar; food was good. Shuttle from and to airport, most important consideration was very timely.
