“Nice Hotel”

The ONLY downside: Lots of guests from tours and cruise ships stay here, and there were the usual yelling children at 6 AM (the hotel can't help that.) But I'd stay here again. GREAT location and clean hotel.

“Very good hotel, very well positioned”

Very difficult to fault the AC Diplomatic. It is situated a couple of blocks from Cataluynia Square and the Ramblas, and just off the Passeig de Gracies, which is full of good quality reasonably priced pavement tapa bars (try Qu Qu and Txechapela). Very good and obliging staff, good quality slightly manly designerish room. free mini bar and water. Good sized quiet room. Good strong shower. Firm bed with clean white linen bedding. Nice area. It all just seemed effortlessly professional.

Stayed here in September for a few nights with my sister and cousin for a quality break Excellent - rooms spotless - cleaned every day - nice touches were - free minibar with water and juice and roof terrace to chill out after a busy day sightseeing Great breakfast! if a little pricey but hey!you are in a city centre hotel Would definately recommend this hotel

“Wonderful Hotel”

I liked everything about the hotel, I really liked the location as it was central to everything and not in the heart of the tourist district which I found to be over crowded. It was within walking distance to everything including the Sea if you enjoy walking.

Beautiful Hotel. I didnt speak the language but that wasnt a problem there. Everyone very helpful. If I had the opportunity to go back to Spain I would definetely stay here!!

“Great location”

The AC Diplomatic was close to all the major routes and easy access to the double decker sight seeing bus. The room was very comfortable with a beautiful floor to ceiling marble bathroom.

“AC Deplomatic - Wonderful Hotel”

Hotel was terrific. Location was great - just a couple of blocks from Las Ramblas and convenient to tons of restaurants and tapas bars. The famous Block of Discord, containing three Modernista masterpieces (including Gaudi's Casa Batllo) was one block away. Room was very well laid out with good air conditioning. They provided the two beds and a high floor as we requested. It was also very quiet. While we were at the hotel, the Barcelona team won a semifinal. All night there were horns honking and people shouting - we could barely hear any noise. They provided a free mini-bar, which they restocked with water and soda daily. The two of us were very satisfied and would stay there again and recommend it highly.

Friendly and helpful staff, everything in the city within walking distance. I would stay here again.
