“Lovely hotel”

Superb hotel, plesent staff, good location. I will recomend to anyone.

“Excellent value, clean and comfortable”

I was amazed at how good this hotel was for the price - the room was large, and had a clean and modern feel to it. The hotel staff were friendly and accomodating - I arrived a few hours before the check in time but the reception staff had no problem with me moving into the room early. The location is quite far from town but the hotel is about 3 mintues from the Lesseps metro station, from which Catalunya Plaza is only a 10 minute journey.

“A happy medium between a backpacker hostel and a hotel”

I hope my title says it all, really! I believe these are university residencies that doubles up as a hotel out-of-term; so while you have all the services of a hotel, the ambiance is definitely more of a backpacker hostel. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, really good location, would definitely use again if/when go back to Barcelona. Only one gripe - the breakfast buffet was pretty limited and certainly wasn't worth the asking price.

“"Bon Any" in Barcelona”

We were looking for a city break (preferably in the sun) between Christmas and New Year and we selected this hotel because it appeared to offer just what we were looking for - a comfortable budget break just out of the city centre and we were certainly not disappointed! Yes it's functional. No there are no frills. But for a four-night stay it had everything we needed. No shortage of eateries on the doorstep with every imaginable kind of cuisine - and not fancy, just good! The walk into town is not tooarduous and if you don't fancy the walk back uphill there's a Metro just around the block and the Metro works better than the London Underground!

“good value”

1st impression on the room was "awesome": we got a double bed and a big room on the 4th floor. Later we realised we can hear some neighbour snoring like he was sharing the room with us, and pretty much every little noise around (from other rooms or the hallway) would sound incredibly clear. So, if you can sleep with noises around and don't make much noise yourself, this hotel is a good choice. What remained awesome was the shower room: big, cosy, big mirror, big shower cabin (can fit two... or more :) and high pressured water. Gracia neighbourhood is quite nice, a lot to do just few blocks down; to the center you have to take the subway: Lesseps station is at a 3 - 5 min walk.

“Convenient and friendly”

This is a reasonably priced and conveniently located facility with a very helpful staff. The breakfast is not very good and the guests can get noisy in the evenings, but I would stay there again. Note that cash and travelers checks cannot be left in the hotel safe - only passports and tickets.

“Good Hotel”

This is a good hotel and the staff are excellent and all the day shift people speak english. Underground is close by making access to the whole of Barcelona within a few minutes.

“Residencia Erasmus Gracia”

Hotel was very basic but had everything needed for a short stay base. Had not long beef refurbished, cleanliness was ok. Located near the top of town and in a safe area. All the sights were within walking distance would/will go back.
