“excellent hotel, excellent location”

I stayed at this hotel and have to say that it is a great place to stay - 10 mins from the beach by tram and 5 mins away from La Ramblas by metro. It has a nice shopping mall across the road which has a supermarket - ideal for stocking up on cheap drinks and snacks as the city is quite expensive. The room was really nice and had all the things you'd expect from a 4 star hotel. Would definately recommend it ans if i ever go back then i will definately be staying there.

“Fantastic value”

We were a bit worried what to expect given that this is one of the cheapest 4 star hotels but it was fantastic. Being very close to a metro station makes the whole city accessible within minutes, cheaply. Very funky modern design and located immediately beside one of the funkiest buildings in the city, the Agbar tower. Shopping mall directly across the road with good shops and restaurants. The room itself was more suited to couples due to the transparent bathroom wall, but there is a semi-opaque screen which offers a bit of privacy and thankfully the actual toilet is in it's own separate, concealed part. Extremely comfortable, we felt very spoiled.

“Fabulous hotel”

A great hotel with all mod cons. A great building of modern architecture. Great if you like your gadgets and funky things! Only down side is that it is a little out of town 20-30 minutes walk to Las Ramblas. Would definately stay there again though.

“European energy & water conservation”

The hotel and view was excellent. We were not familiar with the door key slot to turn lights on. Note in bathroom how to conserve water while doing routine task. Example:Brushing teeth, option of water needed to flush commode, etc. This is excellent. Our room was directly beside the Agbar tower. It was beautiful at night and a good landmark for finding our hotel when out. We were able to check in early in a smoking room. (Non smoking room not available at that time) We don't smoke but said we would check room before check-in. We could not believe, not any type of smoke odor. The rooms are so sheek. Loved it.

“Excellent modern hotel with great service”

This was a great experience – the hotel may nit be central, but it’s only 4 short stops from the Centre (Playa Catalonia) on the metro or (slightly longer) by No. 7 bus, and you get great views over the city and a friendly, safe environment as a base.

“I shall return”

Alternative but comfortable location. An oasis after a day work at the city. Nice view from the roof, a little bit windy, but the small pool becomes indispensable during summer. Vecinity of Agbar tower helps orientation. The rooms are like cocoons: excelent sleep conditions. Voyeuristic showers adds some spice to it. Next to subway station (Glories), in front of tram station and of fine shopping mall. Rooftop views of Montjuic, La Sagrada Familia, and the mediterranean will become fond souvenirs.

It's a beautiful hotel with rooftop bar and small pool offer amzing views of the city. The bedroom layout and style is perfect and the staff are most helpful. If you plan to visit this city, stay here!

“We'll stay here again”

We were very pleased with our hotel stay. Although it is a little ways away from the center of the city, it is very close to a metro station. Which was very easy to navigate around the city and cheap. We were able to walk about 15-20 minutes to the beach. There was a mall near that also had restaraunts and a grocery store which was great for us to save a little money on not eating out all the time. Because it was right next to the Torre Agbar it was really easy to know where our hotel was at when visiting the city. We would definately stay here again for our next visit to barcelona. Very quite and safe area as well at night.

“Ultra modern”

If a Europeon experience is what you are looking for this is the hotel for you. Don't look for the American style perks like a coffee pot in your room. This a very modern style hotel catering to the Europeon business man. Across the street from a large mall and many restaraunts neer by. Quite a long taxi ride from the airport.
