Pros: The whole experience was great. Staff were super friendly and facilities were ideal.
Cons: Mattress quality could be improved. This may be personal preference but the bed was a little lumpy and bouncy and I prefer to be hugged by a bed!
Location: There's a metro station just outside the hotel and there's a 10 minute walk into the city centre and La Rambla.
I stayed in Hotel Soho last week with my girlfriend and really loved the hotel. We weren't expecting a 5* experience as fees reflected the hotel's 3/4* status but we found ourselves very pleased with the accommodation. Rooms are nice and modern, bed's could be comfier (but again, the bed's reflected the price paid), the pool was adequate for a dip between tanning and staff were extremely friendly. Barcelona is a city with more going on than anywhere I've been before. You're not going to be in the hotel much but the time in the hotel will be pleasant.

Excellent HotelPosted Jun 15, 2014
Location: Very central location
Excellent Hotel close to many attractions and the metro station. Easy to get to Camp Nou, Sangra Familia etc. with good restaurants close by. We loved the style of the hotel and the staff were very knowledgeable. Ultra modern yet relaxing and familiar. Our only negative is that the shower is a bit impractical and wet up the bathroom when showering but we would DEFINITELY stay here again.

Good facilities, bad servicePosted May 22, 2014
The hotel and rooms are in good condition, with a cool design and ambiance, but - that's about it. The service is below average, not even making an effort, and with an unexplainable attitude. On our first day, one reception clerk even tried to convince us not to use the metro and instead wanted to sell us some tourist bus tickets - at the end of our stay we thanked god we weren't convinced. Although the hotel is right next to a metro station (urgell), the location is not as good as other hotels I will attend when next going to Barcelona.

Walking tour of BarcelonaPosted Apr 28, 2014
Location: Many places to eat, mostly Tapas, lots of shops and convenient for getting around. Not as bustling as Ramblas but more pleasant to walk around
Convenient situation for our trip. We caught the aerobus to Playa Catayluna (did not realise the hotel was nearer Urgell Stop), but only short walk back. Helpful staff, breakfast was a tad expensive but nice and fresh everyday with a good choice. The decor is very modern and the pool is adequate for a floating session to cool down but not deep enough to swim. We used the tourist bus with three routes around the city to get an overview of places of interest then walked from the hotel to our chosen places. We were able to walk to Playa Espana to get the train to Monserrat for our lovely walk up to St Jerome for fantastic views. From the hotel it is easy to walk to The Ramblas, Barelonetta beach, Sagrada Familia. Also if you do not want to take the many buses available (or the Metro) it is quite interesting to walk to Poble Espanyol through the gardens then walk back to the evening light, music and water show at the Magic Fountain of Montjuic

Pleasant clean hotelPosted Apr 9, 2014
The Hotel Soho is a pleasant clean hotel about 15 minutes walk from La Ramblas. Breakfast was excellent and worth including in the hotel price. Rooms are very clean but very minimal. Hotel is quite soul less and very quiet in fact you might think that you are the only people staying there. Friendly staff clean rooms and a good breakfast.

Favorite in Barcelona--Modernista delightPosted Apr 9, 2014
Pros: The staff is as close to perfection as I have ever experienced.
Cons: Need more outlets
Location: On busy, main thoroughfare Gran Via, just blocks from Platja Catalunya and the Rambla, long walk or short metro to Sagrada, beaches, etc.
Second trip to Barcelona and second stay at this clean, ultra-modern stylish hotel. The architecture of the hotel--and the rooms--is modrnista sculpture itself--more like a modern art museum than a traditional hotel. Flush aluminum doors, frameless glass with art designs, videos emerging from the glass elevator walls; it's all original and lovely. Yes, there some idiosyncracies that go along with the modernism--not enough electrical outlets, for one, and a glass shower wall that is also the wall of the bedroom (there are electrically controlled miniblinds inside the glass if you want your privacy); the separate toilet room is darkish and the "cool" and "hot" light settings built into buttons on the night tables take some getting used to, but you won't forget, or regret, this unique hotel. Greatest staff, they do everything you ask quickly and then some. Nice breakfast room, parking right next door (typically euro-tight), and an adorable little pool and lounge area on the roof. The location is great--just a few blocks from the Rambla and Platja Catalunya, restaurants and stores on the block, metro station just steps away and even the main airport shuttle stops a block away. Quiet inside even in the front facing a busy main street. Adequate wifi. This is more in the tourist area than in the business district, but it feels like real barca just a few blocks from the craziness of the Rambla.

Excellent for a spring tripPosted Apr 8, 2014
Pros: rooms were comfortable, polished, stylish, chic, clean, soothing
Cons: coffee in the room
Location: 1 block away from metro, perfect location for spending a weekend or a week in Barcelona. I walked everywhere!
excellent hotel! chic, stylish, posh vibe -- amazingly helpful staff -- comfortable, polished rooms -- across the street from the metro stop -- I'd absolutely stay here every time I'm in Barcelona and I've told all my friends to stay here too. Location is ideal, it's walkable to mostly everything and there are plenty of markets and pharmacies within steps. No kids were with me, I'd say this place is better for trips with no children!

Excellent and modern hotelPosted Mar 30, 2014
Brilliant hotel, right beside metro, near the centre, staff have extremely good English, rooms are very modern and stylish. Lacks a hotel restaurant/bar but surrounded by bars and restaurants anyway

Perfect hotel for 3-day visitPosted Mar 17, 2014
We took the aerobus from terminal 1 SOHO and arrived in approx 25 minutes. It couldn't have been easier. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast was hot and delicious! Our room on the 5th floor was very comfortable and quiet. It was a great base for exploring all the attractions. Ideal really!
