Very poor room facilities. You could ask for a kettle, for a charge, but then you need to supply your own tea, coffee etc. No hairdryer, safe, bottled water. Basically a room with a tv. Not the standard I expected, you would not have rooms like this in the UK.

Basic TraveLodge property in the Barcelona Fair area. Close to all fair events and also to the airport, and about 15 minutes taxi ride to Barcelona city centre. No full restaurant and not much in the immediate area, especially in the evening, but there´s a big mall and a lot of restaurants within walking distance. "Economy class" rooms, but that´s what you get with TraveLodge anywhere.

Okay for one night stay
It was ok. The room was cramped for three people, the twin bed wasn't ready we have to get it ready for the third person. We arrived around 11 pm at night you would think the room should be ready for 3 people it was only for 2 as we have to ask for extra towels. We paid for 3 breakfast that same night then the morning after the lady ask for us to write all our names.

This place had a very bad bleach smell that was very irritating. I kept coughing and couldn't stay at this place. We had to leave immediately. The place looked nothing like the pictures. The second floor was completely destroyed and under renovations. The room didn't have any amenities as described on Expedia. It didn't have a fridge, soap, safe, blow drier or ANYTHING. WIFI was not even FREE. Never staying there AGAIN! HORRIBLE!

Dear Mariam, thank you for choosing Travelodge for your stay and thank you for taking the time to give us a review. We are very sorry to hear that your stay with us was not as positive as we would have liked. However, we would like to make you aware of a few points in relation to your comments. Firstly, the cleaning products used in Fira have an air freshener component that eliminates the smell of bleach, the use of which is limited exclusively to bathroom areas where cleanliness must be maximised. Secondly, the replacement of air-conditioning equipment is being carried out on the first floor, the only floor blocked to customers, and there are posters informing about the improvement actions in different parts of the hotel, including the hall, corridors on each floor and in the lifts. Nothing has been destroyed, but the false ceilings are being removed for proper installation of the equipment. Once completed, new LED luminaires and new plaques will be installed. Regarding the amenities, there is no fridge, no safe, as can be seen in any sales channel. Finally, the wifi is free of charge in the common areas and also in the rooms if you book directly with the hotel. We remain at your disposal. Best regards.

Beautiful historical friendly Barcelona stay
Stayed 2 days after our cruise. Need to compliment the front desk and breakfast area staffs, namely Jane, Lillian and lady native of Barcelona ( sorry did not get her name). Friendly &helpful . Place is kept clean and safe. However missing are the usual coffee maker and refrig or ice bucket that we are used to having. Location is in light industrial area far from tourist attractions but quite close to the great metro system of Barcelonas including access to the airport.

This Travelodge is in the Barcelona Fair area, which is about halfway between city centre and airport (15 minutes either way in car or taxi). It´s a modern and well-kept property and the staff are and efficient and friendly. Limited dining at the hotel and not much in the immediate area, but there´s a big mall nearby which has everything. Good value-for-money hotel for a short stay.

Very loud music,can't sleep until 6am. Rude Lorena
There was a concert nearby with loud music that lasted until 6am. With closed windows the noise inside the room was 60-70 decibels. With open windows it was over 80 decibel. I have taken video recordings of this noise inside the room with a closed window in the night. We could not have possibly slept with this noise, even when using earplugs the noise was too loud. I would like to ask whether the concerts are a usual occurrence near the hotel i.e. every weekend, or was this just a one off? I raised my complaint with the receptionist Lorena in the morning. She was very unprofessional and rude in our interaction. In her own words she said that I should have noticed the people and the party set up nearby so that I would know that there would be noise in the night before booking it! This is a very unprofessional thing to say to a customer aiming to make them feel they are wrong, just for expecting normal sleep conditions at night.

The hotel was sparkling clean. The staff were so lovely and professional. We wanted an early check in, they were so considerate about it and allowed us to check in 2 hours earlier. The best nights sleep and so comfortable.

Great little hotel, clean and good facilities and staff. However we couldn’t sleep during a night when a gay party was nearby, they played super loud music from midnight to 7 am and we had no chance to move rooms, it was awful. At least the hotel should provide ear plugs or double glazed windows.

Staff are NOT FRIENDLY, We are NOT welcome!!! We booked this hotel because of the good review and good rating. We understand that we are 45mins early from Check-in time, but a welcoming greetings and a proper guest service explanation as to why we can't do early check in would be a better way to do it, rather than saying NO you cant check in and shake your head and roll your eyes on us. We are a large group coming from a long flight, we dont need to be treated like this, we are also a frequent traveller and this is our worst experience with customer service and we are very very disappointed with this experience. And ALSO, there are signs and posters posted infront that says Early Check-in and i would say don't put your ads that way its a lie. So so disappointed!!!

The staff was helpful and responsive. The facility was clean and updated. The location might not be what some desire because it is not in the city. However, the location is great because of its proximity to the city and airport. The city is quite congested and it is nice to be able to leave. The staff was the best!

This place was horrible. The WiFi was 0.5 mbps and it would go out randomly. The parking says it’s free on the listing but they made me pay for it. The place is horrifying and I learned that it’s worth the slightly higher price for comfort. This place is garbage, I caught COVID from it.

Travelodge Barcelona was clean staffswas very good the hotel is only 250meters from the undergroud and its not very far from the center and parking was good for 12euros but i parked infront of the hotel so i did not have to pay and the area was very safe thanks mr Diep

The air conditioner was on heat and in central mode and we were sweating all night, and we can’t open the window because it was locked and you can open it little bit, they don’t have refrigerator in the room

Everything in this place comes with an additional fee. No sure what is the smoking policy but you could smell cigarettes in the hallways and even in the room. Water droplets were dropping from the ceiling of the bathroom.
