A very stunning hotel, styled in a dark and sleek modern manner with retro highlights, U232 features a wonderful support staff that are all fluent in Catalan, Spanish and English. It is nicely situated the upscale Eixample district which is a short walk or cheap cab ride away from everything in town.

We spent a longer weekend in Barcelona and hotel U232 was everything what we needed for just perfect holidays. The hotel is situated c 200m from underground station which was really helpful. Our room was a little bit noisy because of busy road just in front of the hotel but nothing extreme. Breakfast both, continental and full English. Price 13 Eur without VAT. I am not sure why but a lot of restaurants showed prices excl. VAT.

“Great Hotel Great City”

I selected hotel since they had capacity for about 30 people, part of an academic convention. Everything was fine, I would recommend U323 highly, clean, rooms, tastefully done, very helpful, friendly staff. My AC did not work, they moved me to another room in minutes. My only complaint, is that while the expedia rate was reasonable, breakfest was not included. It was 13 Euro, a bit expensive, tho the food looked good. I just had coffee at 2 E and they gave me a pot, not a cup. I don't usually eat much so it worked out fine. We suddenly needed a conference room, they were most cooperative in providing one. Its a great hotel, 1 block from metro, good value for a 4* hotel. I recommend it, and my colleagues were delighted

My teenage daughter and I spent four nights at this hotel over New Year's Eve. We really enjoyed the hotel, the neighborhood and the staff. The hotel recommended some great local restaurants (my daughter is a vegetarian). Very convenient with the metro on the corner.
