“Wonderful setting, great service”

Fantastic setting above Lago Manuel Huapi. Great ser vice and facilities and one of the best breakfast spreads I've experienced in Argentina.

“Very Pretty But Beware”

Loved the ambience, style, location. Beautiful reception and restaurant area overlooking the lake; nicely designed, spacious, modern rooms. The restaurant is excellent, though pricey. The coriander trout is the best trout we had in Argentina...outstanding. Only complaint would be the noise. Not much quality put into the pipes. You can hear the pipes working when someone takes a shower, etc. The driveway is also gravel and when a car comes through, it wakes you up every time. Maybe it was just where our room was located? Not sure.

“Luxury in Patagonia”

The Design Suites Hotel was a wonderful experience. Clean, comfortable and relaxing. "Monet", the hotel restaurant was especially pleasant and really good.

“A fabulous retreat!”

We had been traveling in Argentina for two weeks already when we arrived at the Design Suites hotel in Bariloche. I was a stunning retreat with awesome views - five stars! The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and pampered, even the bartenderess who endulged our margarita withdrawal with one of the best drinks we have had anywhere in the states. Only regret is that we didn't stayed longer than two nights

“It truly worth it, I was impressed!”

It was really a wonderful stay. Nice view to Nahuel Huapi lake. Excelent Breakfast!. My only complaint is that they have single a computer with Internet for all the guests. That's why I just adjudged a four to one of the categories. The rest were five's!!!

“Perfect Stay”

After much research, we decided on the Design Suites in Bariloche and it proved to be a great decision. The rooms are very nicely appointed and the in-room hot tub is a plus, especially after a day out hiking or skiing. The outdoor heated pool/hot tub in the club house is beautiful at night. Only a 5 min. taxi ride into town, this is a great location. Hotel offers free shuttles to the ski slopes and to town at certain times of day, but a taxi ride is not that expensive either if the schedule does not fit.

“Excellent place”

The room was commodious, with a fine view of the lake. We enjoyed the jacuzzi as well. Only problem was that the arms on the chairs were very uncomfortable. The restaurant was outstanding. The food was so good, we ate there almost every night.

“Comfort and service w lake views”

This is a very nice place. Built into a south facing slope, the hotel's several buildings have sunny views over Lake Nahuel Huapi. It's a very vigorous walk--about 1.5 mi.--but a quick taxi ride into the center of Bariloche. It's a pity the town has not built a comfortable walking path or sidewalk along the roadway that carries fast moving traffic. The hotel has a modern spa feeling in decor and furniture and uses local art and artists freely. There is very friendly service w a good restaurant and bar in the main building. Get a room w a view to the lake: spectacular. The hotel has good exercise equipment, a heated in-/outdoor pool, and sauna. An excellent choice if you don't have to or want to be in the touristy town itself.
