Nice little hotel with an amazing viewPosted Jan 9, 2014
Pros: Hotel staff were amazingly helpful with making arrangements for the next stage of our travels. Our room was high up the hill with an amazing view.
We stayed only one night on our way to another town in Patagonia.

Good location with viewPosted Jan 7, 2014
Pros: Location,rooms and staff .
Cons: Leisure area. Evening meal.
Location: Great views and good restaurants .
Hotel definitely needed a facelift particularly in the leisure spa area. The breakfast was excellent but evening meal poor. Staff very good.

The rooms are very spacious and comfortable....but a few things could be updated. The hotel is located in an area a few km way from the center of the city. While there are a few nice restaurants and bars in walking distance, this means that you will need to get a taxi to get to many places. The free breakfast is quite good (make sure you ask for eggs) but I would dine elsewhere for other meals. The pool is heated (which is nice in cooler days) and there is a small spa area. The hotel seems a bit understaffed at times (the manager had to leave the front desk to help people with their bags) and only the manager (Andres) was competent in dealing with any special requests. The food staff was quite good and helpful. The general area is lovely, but the hotel is right by the road. Overall, this place is a good value for the price and quite nice.

The hotel is beautiful, the personal are welcoming and willing to help you with all your need. Great suggestion was given by the front desk for dining out and executions. They gave us a beautiful room with Jacuzzi, balcony that look the lake. Really this place was fantastic.

What a sweet getawayPosted Apr 9, 2008
Nested in the hills just 6 km outside of San Carlos de Bariloche, this "nest of the condor" is so well designed. We stayed for three nights and absolutely loved it - getting away from the noise of town and yet having it at your doorstep. Every room is designed with a lovely lake view.

Very good choicePosted May 31, 2007
This hotel has high quality accomodations, almost new, with an amazing view to the lake and mountains, all for a fair price and just 4 miles from downtown and Cerro Catedral, the sky center. The rooms includes jacuzzi and fireplace and the hotel offers Spa services, some are included in the price.

Wonderful Hotel and SpaPosted Mar 20, 2006
A gorgeaus lakefront property, with spacious rooms, including a fireplace stocked with wood! The pool and saunas were clean and available, and a masseuse was on premise. The breakfast was nice and service was friendly. The staff speaks English and Spanish and is most helpful.
