Barossa escape @ Jacobs Creek RetreatPosted Jul 4, 2013
Pros: The staff were warm and friendly
Cons: The bathroom was quite cold!
Jacobs Creek Retreat is beautiful, full of history and charm. Charles can't do enough for you and shares little stories about the region along the way - he engages, but doesn't intrude. We stayed for 5 days and will easily go back. The Orlando suite was spacious, comfortable and inviting and breakfast was hearty.

Perfect Romantic GetawayPosted Jun 12, 2013
We stayed for the June long weekend and it was amazing. The staff are so friendly, the cottage we stayed in was very romantic and the bed was very comfortable, the best sleep I have had in a long time. The breakfast every morning was delicious. I would recommend couples stay here if they are looking for a romantic getaway. We will definitely be coming back.

Not what I expected, the pictures on the web site made it look great. Was overpriced. The accomadation smelt musty. Stayed in the loft, kept banging my head as their was little celing clearence. gardens and pool were the only good things

Excellent hotel in beautiful surroundings. The only fault was that no evening meals were served, so we had to venture out from our splendid retreat. Otherwise, a perfect spot.
