This hotel was a complete let down. Always looked forward to stay at this iconic hotel in my home city. Reality is that the hotel needs a lot of improvement in surrounding areas and rooms. Staff wasn’t the most helpful either. In such a hot city it is a priority to have the ac in your room working as it is expected to work. But the hotel has the ac locked at 22c (72f) called the technician several times to set it to a lower temperature and nobody could fix it. I asked for a room switch only to find myself with the same issue in the new room. water heater was also not working on any of the rooms. Honestly having faced this issues with things so basic that you expect from any type of hotel I’m never staying here again.

This place is all that shouldn’t be! It’s old, dirty, anything is working properly, air conditioners are not working, horrible mattresses, not utilities, not enough personnel working. Anyways!!! This is a garbage for the price that they charge!

We had issues with our keys and had to change room because the lock wasn't working. The service is really good. Breakfast is included and has variety of options. The Gym was under remodeling but across the street there is a full Gym were you can buy a few days or weeks if you need. There is plenty of restaurant options around the hotel. Also the bar and restaurant have options if you want to stay in. Don't expect to open a tab as they had issues with guest no paying their bill so you have to pay everything at the moment of service.

Food in restaurant was not good No convince store , guest laundry room facility or fitness centre on the property like advertised on Expedia website under property amenities. I had a nice room on the eighth floor but the noise from loud music and people partying lasted until 2 o’clock in the morning and started very early on the weekend around 7:00 am with people playing drums for carnival. Windows for rooms should be soundproof hearing that kind of noise on the eighth floor is pretty extreme.
