My fiancee and I stayed there for a Thursday night, because we attended a concert at Casino Rama. It was only 6 km away from Casino Rama, and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to spend a night or more while in Orillia, ON.

Price and Location is right for an overnight stay to go to the Casino

When we first drove up we wondered what we were getting into as it seemed a bit rundown (maybe it was just the dreary day) but the room had been newly renovated, and everything seemed new. It was also amazingly quiet. I would stay here again as the price was great, it was convenient to alot and it was comfortable. You never know what you're going to get when the price is so reasonable and we got a very pleasant surprise.

I will never ever be staying here again. I don't wish this place upon anyone. The location was pretty scary especially coming back to the hotel at night. There was lots of noise and fighting between 3 amand 4 am. I think some of the noise was from the hotel and some was just from the neighborhood. The place also had a really weird smell.

Went to a concert at the casino and it was a 25 dollar cab ride each way..great if you want to drink..the motel was very good for the money you pay..it's pays for your cab.the room was great! Very clean and kinda modern. Everything was renovated. Bed was comfy. Grooves restaurant next door had great breakfast for a goo price..great place if its just to lay your head

Well, it was clean which is always important. Considering the reviews that we read, we expected more. The washroom was clean and we liked the separate sink in the other room. having the microwave and fridge were useful. However, the washroom door did not shut properly which also meant it could not be locked. There wasn't much of a seal at the bottom of the front door of the room; thus, cold air was coming into the room so we had to cover the bottom of the door with the blanket. It was -7 or so that night we stayed. We could hear every car that drove by and the snow mobiles that were around. We also heard people walking up and down the stairs. Lastly, the pillows were very flat and in a room with a queen bed, we had three pillows in total plus a flat sheet and a soft blanket used for the spring, not winter. So really, for this rate through hotels.com, we got what we paid for. It was clean which was the best thing about the room.

Nothing special, clean room no major issues except for the very noisy heater that woke us up every time it came up. Convenient to Casino Rama and a good deal for a place to sleep.

Clean Room that served us well during our stay. Close to restaurants & only 20mins away from Casino Rama!

My husband and I had a Kennedy Rogers show at Casino Rama, and only booked this hotel because most of the hotels in town were booked out. We were a little apprehensive sinceit was 1.5 stars, but we were pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. The fridge and stove was a plus. I was definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay.
