Everything was absolutely great about the hotel. The only recommendation i would have for this hotel, is an on site restaurant. Other then this, i would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, and would come and stay again.

“Don't Miss Visiting Here!!!”

Very nice facility. Exceeded our expectations in most ways. Staff attentive to a small problem that was resolved immediately. Will return again and stay longer to explore the area.

“The Ridge”

Check-in went smoothly and the room was great. The only disappointing thing was the water pressure in the shower.

“Love this place”

Good location to get to many different attractions, from DowntownToronto, to santa's Village, to Canada's Wonderland, to Wasga Beach ets. But you are at a peaceful cottage with a barbaque, kitchen and swimming pool. Very well run

“Everything you need!”

This resort was actually something I had took book last minute (as in same day booking because my plans for another city fell through and was desperately seeking to find another place close to the HorseShoe Valley Resort Tree Trekking activity) I was extremely impressed with the price of the room - even though it was the highest price due to the last minute booking it was still half the price of some of the more mainstream hotels but WAY better! Very comfortable room and bed, felt right at home here! I had no plans to go back the the Barrie area ever but now I will go back just to stay here. I can't wait to try the activities next time!

“Will definately return!”

We arrived a bit early and were offered our room no problem at that time. The room was beautiful. Great layout. Full amenities. Only issue was the back steps to ski out were covered in snow and ice. Called to the front desk and someone was over in less than 10 minutes to chop and salt/sand. My only word of caution is the ski in/ski out facility. It is a bit misleading as you are situated at the top of the mountain. So if you are renting skis or are a beginner, you still have to drive to the base of the hill. Otherwise....fabulous!

“If you want to stay north of Toronto this is the place!”

Excellent place to stay. The suites were well equipped and immaculately clean. If you are traveling directly from the U.S. you might consider bringing some of your own groceries because there is a large refrigerator, stove, and everything you need to serve meals. Excellent Value!

“A hidden treasure in Hidden Valley”

A hidden treasure about 25 minutes north of Barrie. We weren't expecting to receive so much in the one room studio for the price. Each building shares two barbeques and two picnic benches which was never a problem. The kitchenette was well supplied and anything missing is available on loan from the Recreation Centre. Our only complaint was that the glass shower stall leaked a bit. Also, the indoor pool did not have a deep end which was a disappointment for our teenagers. A luxurious, comfortable place to stay for a few days.

Great rooms & rates, but not alot to do in the area other than golf, you have to go to Barrie for Food & Drink

“One of the best hotels you'll stay in”

We travelled our parents and our 5 month old baby and chose the 1BR suite. It was perfect and very comfortable, well decorated, clean and very functional, with all the conveniences of home, slpit bathrooms, jacuzzi, full kitchen (in fact fully stocked with cutlery and utensils), balcony. The staff were very friendly and in fact we rented a DVD but since the DVD player in our room was not working, they promptly had it replaced and did not charge us the DVD rental. Overall we were really impressed and will highly recommend.
