Nice and spacious room but cold

Posted Apr 23, 2015
Pros: Spacious room. I was able to get green tea. I loved that I got a free movie and that there were DVDs to rent.
Cons: Temperature of room - cold! Stronger Wi-Fi - if you want to target business people (if not than no biggie).
Location: I love Collingwood!
I enjoyed the spacious room. Very clean and nice. I was never able to get the room at a comfortable temperature unfortunately, the heater just pumped out cold air. The Wi-Fi was really weak so hard to do work. I wouldn't recommend it for a work hotel but think it would be great for a little getaway.

Fine for a one night stay

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Not great, but not terrible either. The room was what we expected and generally ok, apart from the lack of lighting and the mysterious stains on the carpet. The hotel is currently under construction, which it needs, so they weren't charging the usual resort fee as there was no restaurant or bar on site. The front desk staff were pleasant enough, although the wine glass I asked for twice never showed up, despite their promises. The pool and hot tub were servicable, but the showers in the pool change room looked pretty gross. Overall, I don't know if I'd go back, but it wasn't the worst experience of my life or anything. It was fine for the one night stay we had in the area and the price was reasonable

Big rooms

Posted Mar 30, 2015
Cons: The pool ceiling is rusty and dirty, and the pool itself had a layer of grime at the waters edge. I found that kind of gross.
Location: It was right in between Georgian Peaks and Blue Mountain which we ski'd at each day so it was very handy.
I stayed there March 28th for 1 night with my 2 sons in a King suite. The room was very big with lots of storage space, great bathroom, big enough balcony, 2 tv's. Kitchen was basic and well appointed. Room was clean with nice wood furniture. We were very comfortable.

Was shocked to learn upon late arrival and too late to cancel or re locate we would be charged a mandatory $15.00 fee for "parking wifi and stuff". We arrived too late to use restraunt, facilities ect, and left before breakfast was served. Not impressed!

Great weekend get-away!

Posted Mar 28, 2015
Pros: In the evening, there was a performer named Karina in the bar area singing and playing guitar. She was excellent. Made for a nice evening.
Cons: It was a bit noisy in the room. The walls don't block out the sound of other guests.
Location: We enjoyed cross country skiing and the Scandinavian Spa/
My girlfriend and I enjoy a nice weekend away in Collingwood. We tried cross country skiing and went to the Scandinavian Spa. Both were very enjoyable. One evening, we spent in the hotel lounge listening to a young woman named Karina singing and playing guitar which made a nice evening.

it's so stuip NO NO NO elevator go to Suite Room,

Posted Mar 26, 2015
this is my first time have NO NO NO elevator for this Resort, it not convienced for family to stay at Suite Room, we walked with big luggage with kids, and went to the Suite Room by staircase. This is the bad dream. The indoor swimming pool is too too small, can take a bath not more than 6 peoples.

Friendly staff

The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The only issue I had was that the pool was closed the day we arrived which kind of put a damper on our plans.

Not pleased about the unexpected resort fee of $15. Would have taken this into account when choosing a hotel.

Room to small. No drawers. No closets. I was told this was the Expedia rooms. I had to move 3 times and the pillows were very very hard. I had a bad neck ache after that.
