Hotel was busy with families and party-ers... real loud. Breakfast quality was disappointing... crappy food.

Fine, except for the Hockey playersPosted Mar 22, 2015
Pros: Proximity to skiing, restaurants and highway. Décor and staff were extremely pleasant.
Cons: Timely Security response and management of unruly guests.
Location: Close to Barrie central
Wanted to be close to skiing - stayed overnight at the hotel with family and friends. Hotel staff and facilities were fine, however there was a hockey tournament nearby and many of the adrenaline charged teenaged players from various teams were staying at the same hotel, which prompted several calls to security and a terrible nights sleep. The hotel was extremely professional and gave us a rebate for our stay (true to Hilton's satisfaction policy). It is unfortunate that the various coaches and team parents did not bother to provide any management of their team members behavior and general disrespect for property and other guests. Call ahead and ask if any teenage sports teams will be staying there at the same time. If they are, you might reconsider your accommodation choice.

Our family of five shared a suite overnight.Posted Jan 21, 2015
Our stay was very pleasant. The suite was spacious and very clean, quiet and comfortable. Our kids are 6, 8 and 10 and they loved the pool. The complimentary breakfast in the morning made the day an easy start for us.

PERFECT - but no restaurantPosted Jan 15, 2015
Pros: Clean, modern, well ventilated (hugely important to me), roomy.
Cons: Some type of minimal food service should be provided for beside breakfast.
Location: Nearby: groceries, banking, hardware store, highway.
This is a BEAUTIFUL hotel with beautiful and clean rooms. It is VERY close to a grocery store and the highway. My only gripe (and this is my fault for not noticing) is there is no restaurant in the hotel. So when I arrived to my room at 8pm after a long day freezing in -25 degree Celsius temperature looking for a nice glass of wine and dinner... I was told "sorry we don't have a restaurant. There is wine at the grocery store and you can order for delivery." Darn! The last thing I felt like doing was going back outside and waiting 1 hour for delivery of my dinner. Beyond that little gap in facilities this hotel is SUPERB.

BummerPosted Dec 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
The bed was broken. I have stayed here multiple times and it keeps getting worse and worse. Could be coincidence, still the best hotel in Barrie.
