“Good choice-will stay here again”

Very nice accomodations. Would definate stay here again. Room was clean, quiet and well priced. The on-site restaurant was great too. Pool, spa and sauna were an nice bonus and we made use of them after skiing near by a good part of the day.

“Very good location if you want to be away from downtown”

If your not too crazy on staying near downtown Barrie on safety concerns, this is a place that's next to Highway 400, next to a famous buffet restaurant. This hotel had recently renovations and I had a good room without any problems. It's not too far if your interest to do shopping on big box retails. I would definitely stay again!

“We'll be back next year.”

We stop at Barrie every year and have tried several hotels. This Holiday Inn has been the best so far. Clean, convenient location, good breakfast. Not looking around next year. We're going there next time.

“We'd go back”

This hotel was good in every way but one. The carpets and upholstery in the rooms (at least ours) should be cleaned thoroughly or replaced. Surfaces, bathroom, bedding, everything else was spotlessly clean but I was repulsed by my white socks being completely black after walking around the room for just a matter of minutes, and the sofa arm had some kind of food stuck on it. But on to the positive! The room was big; had a king bed and a refrigerator and was really attractive and the day to day cleaning was great. Lots of room for a 4 day stay. The place has 2 pools and we enjoyed the indoor one very much. Outdoor wasn't open. All in all a great place to stay especially for the price.
