The hotel staff was lovely and knowledgable. They were very helpful and kind. The place was immaculate while being warm and inviting. A definite YES!

“Great place to stay in Barrow, AK!”

We were in Barrow, AK on July 6th, for a day and stayed at the King Eider Inn. The hotel was extremely nice and clean with good interior decoration! We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds. Everything was immaculate, including the bathroom. You can also rent a car from them, which turned out to be very convenient. There were artifacts, photos, maps and climate charts of Barrow and the North Slope Borough in the lobby, that were very interesting. The owners were very courteous and helpful! I would definitely stay there again.

In a quaint Inuit village with no paved roads The king Eider Inn was an oasis. Clean, great pine furniture, comfortable bed,thick shades to block out the all-night-sun and a husband and wife staff who had all the answers and knew the people of the town. Would recommend highly. Right across the street from the airport.
