“Very comfortable, great location”

We stayed here on our trip to Bushkill Falls, and thank god they had an indoor pool, it rained most of the weekend. All in all, no complaints about this hotel, would stay here again.

“Family Getaway”

I chose to stya at the howard Johnson due to the clsoe proximity to CamelBack waterpark. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The restaurant was ncie but the food was not that great. The waiters though made up for it. There are a few chain restaurants across the street so we were able to eat there the rest of the stay.

“Good weekend Getaway”

My husband and I wanted to explore the Poconos and we needed to stay in an area close to several of the attractions. The check in and out were a breeze and we have no serious complaint about the hotel. The restaurant serves good breakfast. Somethings to mention was that the fruit salad wasn't 100% fresh, but you run that risk here and there. That the 'heated pool' was freezing when we tried to swim and relax one night after a day of biking in the mountains. The experience lasted 10 brave minutes. Overall it is a good hotel for its price, the staff were professional and our room was pretty clean. It is the perfect hotel to come back late at night to crash after a fun-filled day in the wild.

The hotel was clean and neat. Staff was courteous and helpful. I had several questions about the area and staff was knowledgeable. The hotel is starting to show its age but is not in disrepair. There was ample free parking. The area is quiet (no jets overhead or trains running behind the building). Beds are comfortable. Everything functioned properly in room.

The hotel and pool were very nice but don't bother with the game room. Machines are junk or broken. But right in the heart of the Poconos with easy access to major roads.

Hotel and room were meticulously clean and room was cleaned daily to pristine state. Front desk staff was polite, friendly and helpful. Indoor pool was clean but could be a bit warmer (both air and water). Restaurant was also great, both in menu and service. Location is great, right off I-80, close to Poconos attractions and across the street of plaza with many eateries and shops. We came with 2 kids aged 8 and 2 and it was OK (they provide cribs for infants but not playpens for toddlers, we had to bring our own). The only negative thing I would say is that if it's cold outside, main lobby and corridors are drafty and COLD!!! Rooms are fine because you control the thermostat inside.

I found my stay to be very pleasant. I stayed with my girlfriend and daughter. We all enjoyed our stay. The service was good, the room was clean, the location was very convenient . I will stay again if I'm ever the area. Very good deal, well worth the price. The pool was nice also.
