“Nice quiet hotel in Strasbourg”
Extremely friendly staff that was able to communicate in any languages you wanted to - English, French, German, ... On arrival we were given a map of the city and were explained the main attractions of the city, and how to get there by foot, public transport, car, etc. Excellent service. Really nice.
I would only criticise 3 things about this hotel:
1. When we were there it was extremely hot (35C+) and the rooms were boiling, and no air con available. I understand these were extreme circumstances and if you travel at other times during the year you'll be fine - the rooms do have heating
2. As other reviewers have indicated, the rooms are very small. That's fine because we only slept there, but a bit more room would make it more comfortable. Otherwise rooms are very clean and modern.
3. The breakfast was a bit expensive. Given that the hotel is in a remote location and it is not easy to get to a cafe or similar to have breakfast you don't have much choice but to have breakfast there. It was nice, but we found the price of 9 euros excessive.
