“Excellent location - very central”

The rooms are clean and the en-siute facilities are suitable. Buffet breakfast is very good value.

“Charming hotel”

The hotel was great. I was not sure what to expect but I did not get desappointed. I think that this is very good value for money. There is not much to complain about. The room is not very big but this is enough. This is just a few minutes from la petite France. Shops are very near and we could not ask for more.

“Nice Location”

Was short walk from all major sights, nice location along river. Room was nice, small by US standards, but more than adequate for our needs. Hotel staff was friendly and generally helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

“Nice Place”

Located along one of the canals in Strasbourg, this hotel has a pretty view. It is also not too far from the central train station. My room was fairly large (by French standards) with bright windows facing the canal and a nice bath. The only thing I could complain about is that the floors were somewhat squeaky, but squeaky floors appear to be rather common in older buildings in Strasbourg.

“Best location to enjoy Strassbourg”

Cosy hotel, old and charming Paris-style building, courteous staff. Room size is big enough by European standards. Excellent location - within walking distance to all the tourist attractions and even the train station Great view of the river. Driving up to the hotel is a little tricky due to one-way streets and pedestrian zones. Parking near hotel is free between 9p.m. and 7a.m., two very affordable parking garages are within 3-4 minute walk, and you can stamp the parking ticket at the hotel desk for a discount. Dining: Take a short walk in the direction of the Cathedral. Once you cross Kleber Place, the choices are countless

“negative impression”

we stayed in the hotel in november, the week before "christmath markets". the hotel was almost empty. we booked a double room with two double beds and paid extra for that. we were placed on the last, fifth floor, which was actually an attic floor. the room was very small. It had one bed,which consisted of two matrasses with one queen bed headboard, and was even covered by one cover. when i told the male receptionist that we ordered a room with two separate beds, he rudely answered that it was the room we ordered. when i asked him to change the room to a lower floor with two separate beds (the hotel was almost empty), he abrubtly refused to do that, explaining that if members of euro parlament would want to come to the hotel and stay there, they would want to stay in their regular room. overall, it was not what we ordered. it was not a three star hotel. the bathroom was moldy and smelled like mold. there was a a small, single person closet, there was no refrigirator or minibar there. there was a safe and the room was cleaned and towels were changed every day. the male clerk at the front desk was very rude. there was a continental breakfast for 12 euro per person. the hotel was somewhat off tourist center. overall, very dissappointing experience.
