“Best bed in Europe!”

On the whole this is a very good hotel, not just clean and well maintainted, but with a touch of charm. However, two things really caught our attention during out stay. The first was the extremely courteous service and warm welcome at the front desk (a very rare commodity in Europe), and the second was an extremely clean and nice bed to sleep in. The quality of the mattress, the crisp clean sheets, the fluffy pillows all combined for one of the best night's sleep we enjoyed on our whole vacation. After all, the most time you will spend in any hotel will be in the bed.

“Very positive experience”

We were greeted with a smile and a map of the town. Refurbishments are being carried out which look great. Our bedroom room was recently redecorated and the bathroom was very stylish. Buffet breakfast, all you can eat. 15 minutes walk into town. Airport pick up and return can be arranged with hotel transport. We would go back.

It is a very nice hotel, the service is great, all the personnel is very kind and will help you in almost everything!! Only the breakfast is not included.

This hotel is a little out of the main city centre area but is only 5 minutes walk from the A tramline that is cheap and very efficient. Everything else about the hotel though is ideal. Facilities are good, rooms well looked after and very clean. All-in-all for the price this hotel represents excellent value.

“Small but perfectly formed”

This is a lovely hotel very near a main road which is why we chose it. The room I stayed in was small but was well laid out. The only negative was that the bath did not have a stand-up shower, just a sprayer you had to use while sitting. The scrambled eggs at breakfast were perfect!

“Close to old town”

This hotel is small, very simple, but adequate if you're just looking for a place to stop over. It is not somewhere I'd want to spend a vacation. Parking is either on the street or $$ in a nearby garage. It is a short (10 minutes) walk to the Cathedral and the shopping/museum area surrounding it. You are not far from the European Parliament, although the hotel is far enough from the tram line that it's not a quick connection. The room and bath were just okay. The clock radio was broken, plumbing is exposed in the bathroom. Yet the place is clean and the little breakfast buffet is not extensive but fine.

Hotel room was clean, comfortable and very small. 15 minutie walking distance to boat ride and historic buildings. Breakfast IS NOT included and the breakfast bar has all the breads and some pastries. Scrambled eggs and fruit.

“Excellent value, charming hotel.”

I loved staying in this hotel. Excellent value, charming, friendly and convenient. We were 3 burley lads on motorbikes and were treated with the same courtesy and as the more “up-market” tourists (ie those on either business or a romantic city break). The rooms are not massive but have character, big enough with all the necessary amenities. The hotel is only 10 mins walk into the city centre. The only slight downside is there is no customer parking. However do not let that put you off; there is plenty of free parking in the adjacent streets. Would definitely stay again.

“sophisticated hotel”

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The room was small but well equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful and recomended an excellent restaurant which was a highlight of our trip. The location was about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the centre of Strasbourg and that was difficult because of the icy conditions. The breakfast was good but a bit expensive.

Aside from the first night when my room was not correct, my stay was very comfortable. The hotel is currently going through renovations and it caused a bit inconvenience. The staff went out of their way to assist us during our stay.
