“Comfort and convenience plus”

We were extremely happy with our one week stay at this hotel especially as it was over the Christmas period .. staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly and attended to any minor requests immediately .. beds were comfortable .. there are no restaurants close by but the tram is only a two minute walk away with a five minute journey into the city which has an abundance of places to eat .. restaurant and bar within the hotel are efficient .. mid priced and convenient when you can't be bothered going into the city .. the bar serves good food including a childrens menu that was excellent and reasonably priced .. pool is good and was used extensively by our two children .. plenty of free parking and close to major highways without being too close .. Strasbourg has plenty to offer especially within an hour and a halfs drive .. it's worth hiring a car and getting out and about .. we would stay at this hotel again ..

“Let down by food”

The hotel was excellent in that we could park right next to the hotel. The tram was close by which took us to the city centre. The hotel does a good deal on 24hr. tickets. Excellent price on superior room by booking in advance. Whole experience was let down by pricey and not so good food and drinks.

“City Trip”

Would I recommend the hotel????? - If you would like a centrally located hotel in the middle of everything then no. - If you would like a hotel near the European parliament etc and near parks etc then yes. In general: Negative - - In our opinion the hotel cannot really be classed as 4 star, we would place this as a 3 star hotel. - The hotel is pretty expensive considering its location and the amenities etc - At 19 Euro per person the breakfast is very expensive (especially considering what is on offer) - The front staff on our first night were not very helpful when asked for restaurant / bar location in town Positive - - The bed and the pillows in the room was very comfortable! - The bar staff were very friendly - The hotel was situated near some parks for a morning run

“Holiday Inn Strasbourg”

Good hotel (see above) but cost free WIFI limited to one hour in the lobby and slow cable connection in the rooms, good pool (few hotels in Strasbourg have one), breakfast buffet expensive.
