“Good suburban Basel location”

Decided upon this hotel as it was closeby to a friend who I was catching up with. Hotel is conveniently located for those coming from the Basel/Mullhouse airport. The hotel itself is very clean, with modern rooms with a Swiss minimalistic style. TV & WiFi are available in each room and the hotel provides a great breakfast, including a buffet selection and eggs cooked to order. It is a short walk (5') from the hotel to the tram stop, from where you can take the tram into Basel. The hotel provided a free public transport card, so it is ridiculously easy & cheap to get around Basel. In the same area as the tram stop are a few shops (banks, supermarket, bakery, cafe etc.), so if you are looking for a hotel that is clean, inexpensive by Basel's standards, and conveniently located to public transport, then this is hard to pass by.

Very Good Hotel and easy to commute into City

Nice hotel for a few nights, no specific luxury but everything was there. There was even a huge balcony attached to the room, which was very nice as it was warm and sometimes to walk out was nice. Location good, close to center and to airport, good for car (parking), bus stop next to hotel. Breakfast buffet simple but again, everything was there what one could need, no specific luxuries again but nice breakfast and caring staff. In the building (different owners) is good restaurant as well, not most exciting or luxuries, but good, swiss food. I had a lovely steak for example. For convenience this was a plus for me (too tired to go into town for food).
