“Our Swiss Home”

The hotel is centrally located and closed to everything. The staff was extremely helpful. We stayed at a very spacious and comfortable. room Breakfast was plentiful. The restaurant manager was very friendly and welcoming.

Area recommendations
You can easily go from Basel to the German side and do your shopping there. Switzerland is a very expensive country. Things are much more affordable in Germany. Transportation is excellent.

“Arlene's positive review”

I would highly recommend this hotel. The room was larger than expected and the service was excellent. Even though there were no kettles in the room to make tea the staff provided us with hot water when we requested it. I'd definitely stay there again. It was also centrally located.

“Great hotel and close to the old city”

Great location, next to the Swisshotel and convention center, easy 10 minute walk to the old city area across the bridge. A very quiet hotel, comfortable rooms. Great hosts, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and was very nice. We would come back there again the next time we are in Basel.

The old city part is a great place, lots of shopping and restaurants.

“Don't get fooled by the name”

The hotel is very small, simple and uncomfortable. It was a cheesy trick to name it Swiss Hotel Q since loads of hotels in Switzerland get this award in different levels.
