DisappointedPosted Oct 2, 2014
This Campanile was much below the standard of other Campanile Hotels that we have experienced in the past. The room was small and dated, no a/c on a hot night, and there was renovations going on. The staff was friendly enough.

Served its purpose.Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Location for drivers heading to spain or portugal is perfect.
Cons: The bed was tired and saggy and there was only one pillow each.
Booked here to break up the drive from London to the Algarve as it is ideally located just off the motorway close to the border with Spain. I knew that as a Campanile it would be fairly basic but all we needed was a bed for one night at the start and end of our holiday. The staff were all very obliging and friendly. The restaurant and food was adequate but not special but it is a Campanile so that is what you should expect.

Good mid-road trip hotel very pet friendlyPosted Jun 30, 2014
We stayed here with our 2 cats on our migration to Spain. We were very very pleased. Quiet, easy to find, comfy bed, hot shower, drinks making in room, great food in on site restaurant, and the cats were well accommodated by the tile and laminate flooring. Would definitely stay here agai. Even without the cats!

Perfect for one night stopPosted May 7, 2014
Pros: Pleasant colours
Cons: A comfy chair in the room would be great!
Location: Only overnight stop
Unfortunately after booking on line my husband phoned to request a specific room ( he speaks fluent French), and was told that is WAS available. When we arrived after 12 hour drive from Southern Spain we were told it was NOT available and we were given a room round the back. My wife has a very bad leg which made walking difficult. So was not best pleased!!

Perfect for one night stop offPosted Apr 18, 2014
Pros: So easy to find, 1st Roundabout off the motorway, parking right outside room, important when car full of luggage etc.
Perfect hotel for a stop on the way back from Portugal, very easy to find, rooms basic and typical Campanile, but very clean and everything you need for one night. Restaurant excellent value, staff very friendly and spoke good English
