Expensive for what it was.
we stayed for 5 nights at the hotel in which was in a good location to local amenities and the beach. The hotel itself had decent facilities, the gym was very impressive and the outdoor pool was nice. However to use the spa was an additional daily cost of around 18 euros per person which considering when you are already paying 176 euros a night was expensive. The hotel room itself was small considering the price, it had a very boxed feel too it and was located on the bottom floor right next to the restaurants / eating area so as you can image some nights it got quite noisy. The Bathroom itself felt dated. Overall for the price and the additional costs to use the facilities and the hotel room we felt the hotel was a disappointment. The staff themselves were very pleasant but at no point just this justify 176 euros a night. There are better hotels around at a fraction of the cost.

Road Trip
We stayed at the Hotel Alanthal en route from Calais to Southern Spain. The hotel is set just off the beautiful beach, and so is ideal for long walks. For a small surcharge (I think €16 per person) you can use the hotel's spa which offers indoor and outdoor pools. Whilst we didn't use this, we saw others who did and it looked fantastic. The hotel restaurant offered a three course set menu in the evening for €33 euros. Good value as for that you could get steak frites as a main. The room was small but clean and we had a partial sea view. The shower was fantastic- large and almost like a wet room. Wifi was strong and held throughout the building.

Business Side Trip (not a business hotel)
Room and Bed were nice for the price (50Euro). I was expecting worse. Hotel is out of the way and food was a bit expensive. But the facilities are nice. More of a holiday resort by the beach than a business hotel

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ,un personnel au top et une suite au top avec vue sur la mer et un large choix au buffet du petit déjeuner malgré son tarif un peu cher mais c est sur nous reviendrons avec plaisir

Séjour moyen , accueil quelque peu glacial (on nous a rappelé à plusieurs reprises que nous avions réservé via le site Hôtel.com et non en direct ), la température de la thalassothérapie a été baissée en raison de la hausse des prix de l’énergie ( compréhensible mais aucune compensation en échange), après 22h il est impossible d’obtenir une bouteille d’eau gazeuse (inadmissible pour un hôtel 4 étoiles)

Complexe pour curistes à la base
Dommage aucunes explications données à l'arrivée sur la vie locale. Il y avait des panneaux, mais on les a vu à la fin du séjour. Petit-déjeuner trop cher, 19 €. Repas à prix correct au restaurant et bonne qualité. Seule la piscine extérieure est accessible, le lagon intérieur en supplément (18€/j/pers). Un soin de 15mn offert à l'arrivée. Attention pass sanitaire exigé pour accéder aux piscines. La piscine extérieure a été fermée durant 2 j, la réception nous a offert le pass pour la piscine intérieure. Le complexe est en général vieillissant, surtout l'espace piscine qui doit souffrir car fonctionne à l'eau de mer. À la base nous avons réservé un hôtel avec piscine mais il s'agit d'un établissement pour curistes, ce n'est pas dérangeant mais il faut le savoir.
