Great place to arrive at after a long journey.Posted Jun 17, 2013
We received good quality service in comfortable elegant surroundings. We are over 70 and were glad we were on the first floor and not higher. Would revisit with pleasure.

A lovely little hotelPosted May 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
We really enjoyed our stay here of two nights. It was a very nice French style Boutique hotel. Our bedroom was spacious and comfortable with a good sized bed. The hotel has a comfortable and very well decorated lounge and dining room. Breakfast was good value for money at 10 Euros. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel overall was very good value for money and we would recommend staying here.

Perfect for a short break.Posted Jan 20, 2013
Stayed at Hotel Edouard VII for two nights and the hotel was lovely. We booked a standard double and the room was a good size as was the bathroom. Towels were very small but this seems to be the trend in France. We choose to stay in the hotel for breakfast as other people had said it was very good and it was. The hotel is very centrally located being a 5 or 10 minute walk into the main area where all the restaurants, bars and shops are located. Really couldn't fault it. If we find ourselves back in Biarritz we will definitely be staying here.

Nice clean boutique hotelPosted Sep 24, 2012
Pros: very clean and friendly staff
Cons: no lift to the upper floors and the bed was a little bit unconfortable for my wife.
Location: On a slight hill but fairly central and close to beaches especially Cote des Basques
Lovely clean hotel with friendly helpful staff. Situated on a slight hill but reasonably central to beaches and centres for shops and restuarants. We booked a chambre confort and found it to be a generous size and it was kept clean. The bed was a little hard on my wife's back which was a pity, but I coped OK. The breakfast was a fresh continental breakfast and the coffee was nice! The only problem was that there is no lift in the hotel and we found it a bit of a struggle with the cases up to our 3rd floor room. Being a small boutique hotel their is only one person on the desk but in fairness she helped us with our smaller bags.

Ideal Holiday BreakPosted Jul 25, 2012
Pros: Ambiance, location, friendly staff, breakfast.
Location: Ideally situated close to the town centre and market but far enough away from the general hubub.
We stayed for 6 nights and the Hotel was ideal for our short break. All the staff were very friendly, always smiling and eager to help. The location was ideal within easy walking distance of the promenade and town centre but far enough away to be in a quiet area. Our standard room was on the second floor (no lift) and was perfectly acceptable. In our opinion the breakfast was excellent for 10 euros pp, good fresh produce well presented, definitely worth a try. We travelled from and to the Airport, to Bayonne, San Sebastian and St Jean du Luz by a combination of bus e1 pp per trip e2 pp per day and train e11pp return to SS and e6.25 pp return to SJdL. No parking issues and an easy, comfortable and cheap way to sightsee. We found numerous places to eat but our favourite was Pedro's on the harbour front serving a limited but excellent menu of fresh fish dishes at very reasonable prices including the house wine. All in all a holiday break that exceeded our expectations.

Nice clean roomsPosted Jul 22, 2012 on Hotels.com
Thanks to the very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was very clean and it smelled great (not sure why but it always smelled fresh and clean). The bed was comfortable and it was very quiet. Within easy walking distance of the beach, lots of restaurants and a great bakery down the street for early morning baguettes or pastries if you like. We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Biarritz.

Beautiful building in a great locationPosted Jul 19, 2012 on Hotels.com
Everything was delightful. If there was one negative it was the lack of a parking space.
