“Old World Charm in Bayonne, along the Adour River”

The Hotel Loustau is a charmer- and in a perfect spot, at the edge of the Adour River. The rooms are simple, but so very reasonable, and clean and comfortable - and the views are breathtaking. Bayonne has a great feel, and it is easy to walk to wonderful restaurants and shops. The staff at the Loustau was very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant there is a little pricey, but very good. I enjoyed my stay here and will very likely return.

“Nice hotel near train station.”

Nice, inexpensive hotel very near the train station. Our late arrival was handled smoothly. The room was clean and comfortable. Our breakfast was very satisfying. We would go back.

Charming, friendly hotel in Petit Bayone situated right next to the Pont Saint Esprit. Quiet with good views of the river. Clean. A few small local bars and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. Bus stops into Bayonne/Anglet/Biarritz close-by. Good buffet breakfast and dinner choices varied and reasonably priced. Would definately go back.

“Well situated”

A very reasonable hotel, very clean and only a minute from the station. A very pleasant walk across the bridge takes you to the lovely old town.

“Hotel not as good as expected”

The hotel was ok but it is a bit of a walk back across the bridge to all the restuarants. Breakfast wasnt brilliant and the hotel is looking a bit shabby. Staff really friendly and helpful though.

“Undergoing renovation”

The hotel is being refurbished, so it's hard to rate. But the staff was lovely and attentive. I stayed twice, each time for a single night. The location is terrific. I wish them good luck post-renovations, which disturbed me not at all, but then I don't much time in my hotel when touring.
