“Safe bet for quick stop in Bastia”

Stayed in a twin. Beds single and quite close together. Bathroom has been fitted in as a sort of cubicle thing in the corner. It was only a short walk down to the main area and a good place to stay when we got off the ferry.

“Satisfactory, but with an uphill walk”

Hotel in itself perfectly satisfactory, if a little functional. However, it was not, despite the name, right in the centre. Probably good enough in the tourist season when the hotels are full, but out of season I would have preferred to be closer in.

“Not Impreesed”

Booked for 5 nights but hotel was so bad and so basic we switched hotel for 2 nights. New hotel was excellent in every detail. BW Bastia arranged another BW in Calvi and it was well worth the extra cost. BW Bastia was supposed to be a 3 star but as I travel a lot for work all over Europe I feel it should be rerated as a 2 star but also needs some improvements to make it ok as a 2 star,the rooms are very basic and unappealing. In the UK it wouldn't get a star rating.
