A nice short getaway
Stayed at new wing of Batam City Hotel. Walking distance to most of the eateries I wanted to go to. Most importantly, it is just next to the massage parlour I enjoyed going to. BCS is just aright across the road after passing thru' a short lane. Of course if you are looking for a resort and beach experience, this is not the place.

Staff made mistake and put blame on guest
Indonesian friend brought friend and i to hotel check in, asked to wait n then i showed her online reservation details... I repeated request for 2 beds n late check out if possible. She then gave us room key, went to room but key card not working, had to call staff up n saw that room had a queen n a single bed. Did not think too much about it. Next morning received call in room that we were given wrong room n staff insisted we asked for 2 double beds as we had 3 people and that soecific room number n wanted to forfeit my deposit. I argued that they did not leave note in room when we were out to resolve issue after we came back as they said they tried calling room but no answer. After my argument that staff saw reservation details n yet accused me of asking for double beds n room number, manager told me then she will get staff to pay but that next time it will be charged. This accusation and attitudes of hotel front desk staff is totally unacceptable n left a very bad impression that even my indonesian friend said she will ask friends to not stay in this hotel as initially she thought we had a very nice room... Restaurant staff are friendly but definitely not the front desk staff as even as i checked out, the lady manager told me that next time the deposit will be forfeited if it happens again.... This is really bad bad staff attitude!!!!!

Nice hotel near to BCS mall
Everything was good except for the water temperature for shower, the water can get very hot and very cold suddenly, so pls dont not put the shower near your body, test before you shower.

Worst hotel ever
I have traveled to many countries and stayed at many hotels this is by far the worst hotel that i have ever stayed. And the service was horrendous. Lesson learned

2 days 1 night weekend stay in Batam
A short stay in this hotel for the weekend. The hotel provides free ferry pick-up to the hotel only. The driver is punctual and friendly. The check-in service is fast. The room is pretty good and clean but some amenities are missing -> bath, shampoo, bedroom slippers. We have to request from the reception. The bed is pretty comfy and the hotel is near the mall and lots of food court/shop houses. There is a wet market near the hotel too. Overall, a comfortable stay and I will visit this hotel again.

Everything is ok, good location for shopping, foods and massages as all are within walking distance, accept for the room's toilet is not well clean with lots of brownish stain all over the floor and shower screens which is really a turn off for us.

The room was OK for a night stay. Breakfast was not too bad. The only complaint is that the Towel looks very old and dirty. Fortunately, I brought my own towel.

A Short Stay
The hotel looked new but I was given a Junior Suite where the air-con was not cold at all. They promptly changed another room for us. The room and toilet were clean. The shower was great, one normal size and another giant one over your head. The pillows were not great, very hard and high. We had to use the sofa cushions instead. The breakfast was ok. There were more food than what we would expect from a budget hotel. The hotel was near to BCS Mall and a few massage parlours and 20 min from Batam Ferry Terminal.

Ok for short stay
Hotel is abt 5mins walk from BCS mall and there are shops selling food nearby. However the condition of the rooms are not very good..abit smelly and dirty. Service of the staff was good though.. Not recommended for fussy traveller but ok for short stay

frequent traveller to batam. i love staying this area. understood that this is a young hotel so i would like to try. good = free pick up from ferry terminal to hotel, staffs were friendly, tv got many channels including scv and got fridge in room. cab fare quoted is higher than normal. booked for executive room but they gave us wrongly for superior room. checked in and found the room really quite small and clarified with them. executive room quite big if the change of room was correct. breakfast was very limited with no cereals as of almost every batam hotels have. toilet bowl was stuck initially. had to use the water hose pressure to rectify. bath towels had stains.

Stayed there for 1 night.. Hotel allowed late check out at 50% of room rate. Rooms are reasonably good and comfortable. Front desk people were polite and helpful. However view out of the hotel is pretty much construction site and street shops. Convenient place to find massages and street food. If u r ok with the "city view" outside the hotel, then the place is good enough n value for money. Oh.. Breakfast was quite pathetic compared to other Batam hotels I've been to..

strategic location and easy to find food
I stayed at Batam City Hotel for 2 nights. It was a quite pleasant. This hotel is surrounding by food court, don't bother to book the room with breakfast, try some local foods instead. I must say it is a very strategic location for those looking for cheap yet clean hotel. Batam city square mall is only 5mins walk. But don't expect too much, "you get what you pay for" to sum up this review.

Centrally located, affordable budget hotel
Hotel is well located within 2 minutes walk from BCS Mall and A2 Food Court (the biggest food court in Batam). Hotel is quite new and affordable. Rooms, both the standard deluxe as well as the superior rooms are of decent size. Breakfast, included in the hotel price, is below average. However, given the affordable price for the room, one can't really complain. Definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay in Batam

It is new boutique hotel.Rooms very small.in bath rooms no provision to keep your toiletries.Un trained staff.Third grade buffet.They claimed that they have spa but they don't have their own In the premises.It is in the next street owned by some one else,that too a cheating joint.Pls don't take their bookings.After this booking through you,I shall never come back to you.Though I booked the hotel for 5 nights but I checked out after 15 hours.You put me in to a great inconvenience.
