“Its Cheap and on highway, only positives”
The only positives for this place is its proximity to the highway to Niagara and relatively inexpensive rate. We were locked out of both the hotel rooms we had booked for the stay on the second day, when the card keys stopped functioning. Apparently it was a frequent enough event that the front desk had a giant wire cutter to cut through the chain locks for the doors. The staff used their manual master keys and the wire cutter to let us into the rooms. This would be a good location if the management spent some money on basic equipment.
“Stay Elsewhere!!!!!!!”
We only stayed one night. Thank God! We checked in at 11:00pm at night so my family and I were too tired to go to another hotel. This hotel is very dirty and in desperate need of renovations. Everything smelled of smoke.
“disgusting”
Internet says microwaves and refrigerators in every room... WRONG. Only a few rooms we were told at check in. I booked two separate rooms, one of them smelled of cat urine, and we had to get air freshener to keep in room for the night. Bedding was dirty, blankets had something on them, and toilets and shower had streaks in them as if the porcelain was coming off. The restaurant in house was suppose to open at 5pm, never did. Pool also closed because no one in house to "BABYSIT". And some "jack" stood outside our room window trying to peek at our 12 yr. old girls. when i went to the checkin counter about it, we were told to "close our curtains".. DUH!! did that.
“Big Mistake”
Walls are paper thin to the point where you can hear every word of the TV in the room next to you. We were there for over a week and the only time our room was ever cleaned was when we called and specifically told room service to come. The front desk is always empty and less than helpful and glare at you until you go away. Considering the number of hotels in the area that offer cheaper rates and cleaner hotels, I suggest going anywhere other than here. It is definitely not worth the money.
“never again”
A customer should be told about a hotel doing renovations before hand. I booked for three nights, but only stayed for two.
“Very disappointed.”
The experience started with a 20 minute wait for the staff to show up at the front counter so the lady in front of me and myself could be checked in. The shower was a mystery to make work and then had little pressure and I should probably apologize to whoever stayed there next as I did not know how to adjust the shower to turn it off (water yes, shower switch no). Then much to my surprise I only deserved one sheet on the bed. The choice was to sleep on it or under it. In my 30 years of staying at a hotel, I never encountered that before. I will never go back.
